Behavior Technician Jobs in Nashville: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a behavior technician job in Nashville?
The fastest path into a behavior technician role in Nashville is targeting ABA therapy clinics and autism services providers, which are the most active hirers in the city. Neighborhoods like Antioch, Bellevue, and the Midtown Medical Center corridor concentrate a high share of openings. Candidates with a Registered Behavior Technician credential, experience with early intervention, or a background in special education stand out in Nashville's competitive but high-turnover market.
Which companies hire behavior technicians in Nashville?
Employers hiring behavior technicians in Nashville right now include Blossom ABA Therapy, Finni Health, and Golden Steps ABA, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of November 2026. Nashville's hiring mix leans toward dedicated ABA therapy groups, hospital-affiliated behavioral health programs, and Metro Nashville Public Schools, which together drive the bulk of local openings.
Are there remote behavior technician jobs in Nashville?
Yes, though remote work is limited for behavior technicians since most roles require direct, in-person client interaction. About 0% of behavior technician openings tied to Nashville are remote or hybrid as of November 2026, with remote options concentrated in telehealth-based parent training, data review, or case coordination functions rather than direct therapy delivery.
How can I get a behavior technician job in Nashville with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Nashville is applying to ABA therapy clinics that hire and train candidates on-site, since many providers offer in-house RBT training and cover credentialing costs for new hires. School-based paraprofessional roles through Metro Nashville Public Schools also serve as a strong lateral entry point. A background in early childhood education, direct care, or psychology, combined with a willingness to complete RBT certification, gives candidates a clear edge with local employers.
