INTRODUCTION
Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Psych Tech for our Float Pool II who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Psych Tech, you will:
- Facilitate patient-professional collaboration at all levels of health care.
- Monitor therapeutic treatment.
- Recognize and value differences in the care team and create a setting conducive to opinion-sharing.
- Collaborate with the treatment team to develop patient care protocols and procedures.
- Incorporate clinical guidelines into patient care.
- Use information technology to deliver safe and efficient care.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications include:
- Minimum of 2 years in related field.
- Prior experience in inpatient behavioral health setting preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate.
WORK SCHEDULE
This Position is a per diem rate of $26/hr.
- Employment Type: Per Diem
- Shift Type: Night
- Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend rotation
- Holiday Requirements: Follow company holiday calendar
- Shift Differential Eligible: Yes
PAY RANGE
