What We Offer:
Formulate and define system scope and objectives based on both user needs and a thorough understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements. Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results. Include analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements, and translation into proper systems requirements specifications. Lead, guide and advise less experienced Business Systems Analysts. Competent to work at the highest functional level of most phases of systems analysis while considering the business implications of the application of technology to current and future business environment. Responsible for directing and monitoring the work of team members. Responsible for quality assurance reviews, project completion, and user satisfaction.
What We're Looking For:
Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
Experience: Minimum of five years experience in a healthcare (insurance, managed care, hospital or pharmacy), required.
Additional Skills (required):
- Ability to lead teams and direct an organized work effort.
- Awareness of current and future trends in IT and healthcare.
- Ability to understand, report and direct team and other IT department personnel to respond to critical production issues in a timely and complete manner, keeping both IT and business owner management informed at all phases of issue resolution.
- Competent to work in all phases of systems analysis assignments with responsibility for successful completion of a project.
- Thorough understanding of IT fundamentals, project methodology, and methods used for systems analysis and design.
- Thorough understanding of the function for which the software is designed.
- Ability to work under deadlines and heavy workloads.
- Possess knowledge and skills necessary to recognize and respond to needs of customers appropriate to status, job class and education level.
