Title: Business System Analyst
Duration: 4+ Months (YTD)
Location: Bellevue, WA
Job Description:
Role Overview:
Client's Supply Chain & Procurement Transformation team is modernizing how we source, plan, and deliver—and AI is at the center of that journey. We're looking for a Product Analyst with hands-on AI experience to sit directly in the business and help us turn bold ideas into real, measurable outcomes. In this role, you'll bridge the gap between business vision and product delivery. You'll support product roadmapping, conduct deep analysis, drive requirements, and help teams navigate the intersection of supply chain operations and emerging AI capabilities. If you're the kind of person who lights up at both a Sankey diagram and a system prompt—this role is for you.
What You'll Do:
Product Vision & Road mapping:
- Partner with Supply Chain & Procurement stakeholders to define and evolve a compelling product vision for AI-enabled transformation initiatives
- Co-develop and maintain multi-horizon roadmaps that sequence investments across quick wins, scaled solutions, and long-term platform capabilities
- Assess feasibility, ROI, and strategic fit of AI use cases across procurement, inventory, forecasting, and supplier management
- Facilitate roadmap reviews and prioritization sessions with business and technology partners
Product Delivery & Execution:
- Translate business needs into well-structured epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria for delivery teams
- Act as an embedded product resource—owning backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and stakeholder demos
- Design and test lightweight AI-powered prototypes or MVPs (e.g., LLM-driven workflows, procurement dashboards, supplier risk tools) within defined timelines
- Collaborate with engineering, data, and platform teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
- Track delivery milestones and surface blockers early with a bias toward resolution
Analysis & Insights:
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to support business case development, opportunity sizing, and performance measurement
- Build and maintain dashboards and reporting tools that give stakeholders visibility into operational performance and transformation impact
- Identify and access relevant data sources to power AI solutions—working with SQL, data visualization tools, and AI-assisted analytics
- Synthesize insights into executive-ready briefs, recommendations, and decision frameworks
AI Solution Design & Enablement:
- Design AI-powered workflows using LLMs (Claude, GPT, Copilot) and automation platforms suited to supply chain and procurement contexts
- Develop practical enablement materials—playbooks, prompt libraries, how-to guides—that help operations teams adopt AI with confidence
- Coach business users on effective, responsible AI use in their day-to-day workflows
- Monitor solution performance, iterate on prompts and models, and identify opportunities to scale successful pilots
What You Bring:
Required Experience & Skills:
- 1-3+ years of experience in product management, product analysis, business analysis, or a related role
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with AI/ML tools—especially large language models such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Copilot—applied to real business problems
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SQL, Excel/Sheets, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar)
- Proven ability to translate ambiguous business needs into structured product requirements and actionable roadmaps
- Experience working in or alongside Agile/Scrum delivery teams
- Excellent communication skills—able to tailor messaging for operational teams, senior leaders, and technical partners alike
Preferred Experience:
- Background in supply chain, procurement, logistics, or operations—either through direct industry experience or product work in these domains
- Familiarity with supply chain platforms (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa, o9, Blue Yonder, Kinaxis) or ERP environments
- Experience building or configuring AI-powered prototypes using low-code/no-code tools or API integrations
- Comfort using AI to assist with code generation, workflow automation, or data transformation (deep engineering not required)
- Exposure to transformation, digital modernization, or large-scale change programs
Who You Are:
- Naturally curious—you ask "why" before you ask "how" and you learn fast in fast-moving environments
- Comfortable operating at the intersection of business and technology—not purely one or the other
- A strong collaborator who can build trust with both frontline operators and executive sponsors
- Structured and outcomes-driven—you bring clarity to ambiguity and follow through with rigor
- Excited by the real-world application of AI, not just the theory
The Impact You'll Have:
This role sits at the heart of client’s effort to reimagine how Supply Chain & Procurement operates. You'll have tangible influence on:
- Accelerating AI adoption across sourcing, procurement, and supply chain operations
- Shaping a multi-year transformation roadmap that moves the business from manual processes to intelligent, data-driven workflows
- Delivering visible solutions—dashboards, automated workflows, executive insights—that teams rely on daily
- Building organizational capability and confidence to sustain and scale AI beyond individual projects
At client, we don't just talk about the future—we build it. Join us.
