INTRODUCTION
What you need to know about the position:
- Each year, our Cancer Center performs nearly 15,000 chemotherapy/immunotherapy and/or radiation treatments for nearly all forms of cancer. Our Cancer Care team is a multidisciplinary team from oncologists to certified oncology nurses to registered dietitian and a social worker - each of whom has the patient's care at the forefront.
- As the Manager of Cancer Center, you have oversight of the radiation and medical oncology day-to-day operations associated with direct patient care activities, clinical education and development, and continuous improvement activities of both medical and radiation oncology and infusion services, staff, and equipment.
- Leading a team of 40 plus nurses, medical assistants, radiation therapists and support staff, the Manager is accountable for efficient operations of all medical and radiation oncology practices and providing managerial decision making and leadership to include effective use of team members, materials and financial resources.
- This position is a salaried position with a starting annualized salary of $100,360 and is commensurate with experience.
- This position will require you to work Monday through Friday 8am-5pm but may require hours outside these times to meet the needs of our patients, the department and employees.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
What the successful candidate will bring to this position:
- Upon hire you must have:
- Indiana License as a Registered Nurse
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- At least 5 years oncology experience

Within 30 days of hire you must have:
- Basic Life Support Certification
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- The preferred candidate would have:
- Previous experience with evidence-based practice design or project management
- Oncology Nurse Certification (OCN)
- Master’s Degree in Nursing
Physical Requirements
While performing this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear, frequently required to sit and occasionally required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls and reach with hands and arms and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10lbs.
