Pay range for this position is $40.42 - $58.01/hour. Actual pay is based on years of licensure. This is a Salaried position.
Overview:
Position Summary: The Clinical Education & Professional Development Specialist serves as a member of the OSF HealthCare Education and Professional Development team to develop innovative education and professional development programs to meet the strategic goals of OSF HealthCare. This position will be responsible for using education science while leading the development of high-quality education and programs provided in various blended education settings and modalities. The ideal candidate is an early adopter and explorer of technology to provide innovative education to our Mission Partners across all OSF HealthCare.
QUALIFICATIONS:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Master’s degree in nursing or a bachelor's in science in nursing with a master's degree in education, organizational development, healthcare leadership, business administration or related field
Experience: Three years’ experience in curriculum design and education or leadership
Licensure/ Certification: RN license in the state of Illinois. Nursing Professional Development (NPD) certification (if no certification must obtain within 1 year of hire)
Other Skills/ Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Doctorate of Nursing Practice or PhD in Nursing
Experience: Previous work in simulation and research
Other Skills/ Knowledge: Experience with simulation and research
