Responsibilities:
The Clinical AI Specialist serves as a strategic and operational catalyst, bridging the gap between advanced artificial intelligence and the healthcare bedside. This role is responsible for auditing current AI footprint; including uncovering undocumented "shadow AI," while proactively designing future-ready AI strategies for specialty areas like research, the laboratory, imaging (Radiology and Cardiology), and specialized care environments. By deeply aligning technical capabilities with core platforms like Epic (including the Epic Agent Factory), this specialist ensures AI directly mitigates clinician burnout and elevates the patient and family experience, from admission to discharge. Central to this role is the maturation of robust AI governance, the creation of safety-focused evaluation frameworks for third-party tools, and the secure, equitable deployment of next-generation AI agents and wearable technologies.

This position offers a fully remote work opportunity. Employees in this role must reside in one of the following states to be considered for fully remote positions: Kentucky, Indiana, Missouri, Ohio, Tennessee, Alabama, Virginia, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- Bachelor's degree
- Three years working in a healthcare setting - OR - Three years working in a healthcare IT setting.
- Awareness of patient safety, clinical quality assurance, or clinical review of AI-generated content.
