Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 1 year of experience in program management.
- Experience with infrastructure projects (e.g., across software, hardware, data center, or networking).
- Experience working on infrastructure engineering teams or experience in service performance or quality.
Preferred qualifications:
- PMP certification.
- Experience working at a large scale technology company delivering a high volume of network build projects.
- Experience managing fiber and telecom vendors for the on-time delivery of fiber assets.
- Experience with fiber permitting, OSP fiber construction, splice, testing, and remediation.
- Experience creating processes and delivery improvements for fiber delivery activities.

Responsibilities
- Assist upstream planning and acquisition teams in developing infrastructure requirements, priorities, and delivery date expectations.
- Manage the delivery of large scale network infrastructure projects involving long-haul dark fiber, metro fiber, leased capacity/circuits, and inside plant fiber from inception through delivery. Ensure facilities are delivered on schedule and meet technical specifications.
- Lead kickoff and regular project status meetings while keeping downstream teams at Google aware of project and delivery status.
- Oversee the program to handle all vendor handover documentation, i.e. LOA/CFA (Letter Of Authority, Customer Facility Assignment), DLR (Design Layout Record) Completion notification, test results and technical drawings while working with vendors and Google staff to coordinate and facilitate excellent record-keeping and communication.
- Serve as primary North/South America vendor contact.
