Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
- 10+ years in IT Production Support, with specific experience in Asset Management or financial services domain.
- Ability to apply structured problem-solving techniques in production support to diagnose issues, perform root cause analysis and drive timely resolution.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Splunk & Compass for covering incident, problem, change, and service request management.
- Proficiency in SQL, Informatica, Business Objects, AWS Cloud with hands-on experience in data validation.
- Understanding of batch processing concepts, job scheduling, and data dependencies in Informatica systems.
- Strong practical knowledge of ITIL frameworks in Production Environments.
- Investments Applications Production Support exposure is an added advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, with strong client-facing communication abilities.
- Ability and eagerness to rapidly acquire domain knowledge and apply it effectively to project work.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide L2/L3 production support (including on-call support), responding to incidents, troubleshooting application issues, and ensuring timely resolution within defined SLAs.
- Monitor system health and performance using Splunk, Grafana, AWS monitoring tools, and mainframe job Scheduler.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application failures, batch job issues, Informatica ETL workflows and data processing errors across distributed, cloud, and mainframe systems.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for incidents and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Coordinate enhancements, defect fixes, and data changes related to Application.
- Coordinate and participate in DR drills and activities including application validation.
- Manage outages, application defects, and planned maintenance activities.
- Maintain and update run books, SOPs, and knowledge articles.
- Guide, mentor, and manage a team of junior and mid-level support engineers.
