Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Customer Support Jobs at Ace Hardware Jobs
Tailor your resume to dealer operations
Ace Hardware's Customer Support roles often center on dealer onboarding, order management, and product support for hardware and construction supply chains. Highlight any experience with B2B client support, vendor coordination, or retail operations to match what hiring managers actually screen for.
Clarify your OPT or CPT authorization early
If you're on F-1 status, confirm your STEM OPT eligibility before applying. Ace Hardware's corporate support functions may qualify, but you'll want your DSO to verify your program CIP code aligns with the role before the offer stage, not after.
Target corporate roles over field-level positions
Visa sponsorship at Ace Hardware is far more likely through corporate Customer Support teams than store-level or franchise-adjacent roles. Focus your search on positions listed under the corporate division, where structured HR and immigration support processes actually exist.
Ask about PERM timing before accepting an offer
If your goal is a Green Card through EB-2 or EB-3, ask the recruiter whether Ace Hardware initiates PERM for Customer Support roles. Understanding their typical timeline helps you plan around OPT expiration and any cap-gap or H-1B bridge you might need.
Use Migrate Mate to surface open roles efficiently
Finding corporate Customer Support openings that are realistically open to sponsorship takes time. Use Migrate Mate to browse Ace Hardware's active listings filtered by visa type, so you're applying to roles where sponsorship is already part of the hiring conversation.
Prepare for TN eligibility questions if you're Canadian or Mexican
TN status under USMCA can apply to certain Customer Support roles if the position maps to a qualifying professional category. Work with your employer's immigration counsel ahead of the offer letter to confirm the job duties meet DOL's classification criteria before your start date.

Find Customer Support at Ace Hardware JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Ace Hardware sponsor H-1B visas for Customer Supports?
Ace Hardware has sponsored H-1B visas for employees in support functions, though sponsorship decisions are made on a case-by-case basis at the corporate level. Customer Support roles tied to dealer operations, systems support, or B2B account management are more likely to qualify as specialty occupations under USCIS standards than general frontline service positions. Your degree field and how the job duties are framed in the offer letter both matter significantly.
How do I apply for Customer Support jobs at Ace Hardware?
Applications go through Ace Hardware's careers portal, where corporate Customer Support roles are listed separately from in-store or dealer positions. Read each job description carefully to identify roles tied to dealer services, wholesale operations, or product support, since those are the positions most likely to involve structured HR processes that include visa sponsorship. Migrate Mate also lists Ace Hardware openings filtered by sponsorship eligibility, which saves significant research time.
Which visa types are commonly used for Customer Support roles at Ace Hardware?
Ace Hardware has worked with multiple visa categories for support-function employees, including H-1B for specialty occupation roles, F-1 OPT and CPT for students in eligible programs, TN for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying professional categories, and EB-2 or EB-3 for permanent residence pathways. The right visa depends on your nationality, degree, and how the specific Customer Support role is classified by the company's immigration counsel.
What qualifications does Ace Hardware look for in Customer Support candidates seeking sponsorship?
Corporate Customer Support roles at Ace Hardware typically require a bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, communications, or a related field, particularly for positions that interact with dealer networks or manage wholesale accounts. Experience with CRM platforms, order management systems, or construction and hardware product lines strengthens your profile. For H-1B eligibility specifically, USCIS requires the role to qualify as a specialty occupation, so degree relevance to the job is critical.
How do I know if a Customer Support role at Ace Hardware will realistically lead to sponsorship?
The clearest signal is whether the role is posted through Ace Hardware's corporate HR team rather than a franchised or dealer-affiliated store. Corporate postings in areas like dealer support, B2B account management, or national operations are where immigration infrastructure exists. If sponsorship isn't mentioned in the listing, ask the recruiter directly during the first screening call before investing time in later interview rounds.
