INTRODUCTION
Affirm is reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly, giving consumers the flexibility to buy now and pay later without any hidden fees or compounding interest.
ABOUT THE REVENUE TEAM
The Revenue team drives Affirm's top-line growth through strategic partnerships, pricing, and go-to-market execution. We acquire, retain, and expand merchant relationships across eCommerce, in-store, telesales, and the Affirm app. The team leads onboarding, relationship management, and performance optimization to help partners succeed. We deliver value-added solutions, drive adoption, and support long-term business growth by connecting merchants and consumers through Affirm's products.
ABOUT THE TEAM
We're looking for a curious, driven analyst to join our Revenue Operations team. Revenue Operations serves as the backbone of the Revenue organization at Affirm. We follow a data-driven approach that combines elements of strategy, systems, process, and analytics to align go-to-market motions across the organization.
As a Revenue Operations Analyst II, you will be a key partner to our Marketing, Business Development, and early Sales teams - focused on making the top of the funnel predictable, clean, and scalable. You'll design and optimize the processes, automation, and tooling that govern how leads, contacts, and accounts enter the revenue funnel, ensuring downstream teams can execute with confidence. The ideal candidate is equal parts tactical, building automation and workflows, and strategic thinking through lifecycle design, routing logic, and coverage models that scale with the business.
- Design and optimize top of funnel merchant lifecycle processes — from Marketing touch through Contact creation, Account readiness, and Discovery handoff — with an emphasis on automation, data quality, and clear documentation
- Own and define lead routing logic, automation triggers, and lifecycle dependencies that govern how leads and accounts move through the top of funnel; partner with Business Systems for implementation
- Own cross-functional initiatives end to end — managing stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, Legal, Product, Revenue Ops, Analytics, and others
- Support attribution tracking and funnel conversion analysis for Marketing, BDA, and early funnel performance to surface actionable insights
- Own workflow automations (e.g., Slack notifications, cross-tool workflows, process triggers) that improve speed-to-lead and reduce manual work
- Collaborate with the Business Systems team to improve Salesforce and adjacent GTM tooling for lead and account management efficiency; define processes to ensure data integrity at funnel entry
- Partner with Revenue Enablement to train and support revenue teams on top of funnel processes and tooling changes
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- BA/BS or equivalent 4-year degree required
- 2+ years of revenue operations, sales operations, or marketing operations experience
- Proficiency in Salesforce (experience as an administrator is a plus); familiarity with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Pardot, HubSpot)
- Mastery of Excel / Google Sheets and a solid understanding of business intelligence tools
- Experience with lead lifecycle management, lead routing tools (e.g., RingLead, LeanData), data enrichment tools (e.g., Clay, Zoominfo), or lead scoring and attribution frameworks is preferred
- Proven ability to manage and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in a fast-paced environment, ensuring alignment and engagement throughout projects
- Prior experience in data analysis, reporting, and funnel performance measurement
- A strong sense of organization, a growth mentality, and a bias toward documenting and systematizing repeatable processes

Frame Your Credentials Around Fintech Operations
Affirm operates at the intersection of consumer lending and payments technology. Tailor your resume to reflect experience with payment processing, credit risk workflows, or merchant data operations so your background maps directly to what their ops teams are solving.
Target Roles With Quantitative Data Components
Affirm's operations function leans heavily on SQL, Python, and data analysis for process improvement. Roles requiring those skills tend to have cleaner H-1B specialty occupation arguments, which strengthens your sponsorship case before the offer stage.
Confirm Sponsorship Intent Before Final Rounds
Ask the recruiter directly whether the specific Operations Analyst position is approved for visa sponsorship. Some Affirm roles are contractor-backfill positions that restrict sponsorship, and surfacing this early saves you from reaching offer stage without a viable path.
Browse Affirm Operations Analyst Openings on Migrate Mate
Use Migrate Mate to filter Affirm's Operations Analyst postings by visa type so you can identify which open roles are actively sponsoring. This saves you from applying to positions that won't support your status before you invest in the process.
Prepare for PERM If You're Targeting Permanent Residence
Affirm has sponsored EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards for operations roles. PERM requires DOL to certify no qualified U.S. workers are available, so your job duties must be narrowly defined. Clarify early whether your offer letter language is written to support a future PERM filing.

Find Operations Analyst at Affirm JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Affirm sponsor H-1B visas for Operations Analysts?
Yes, Affirm sponsors H-1B visas for Operations Analyst roles. The company participates in the annual H-1B cap lottery and has a consistent record of filing petitions for this function. Roles requiring specialized skills in data analysis, payments operations, or credit risk workflows tend to have the strongest specialty occupation arguments, which USCIS evaluates when adjudicating H-1B petitions.
How do I apply for Operations Analyst jobs at Affirm?
You can apply directly through Affirm's careers page or find visa-sponsorship-confirmed openings on Migrate Mate, which filters Affirm's postings by visa type. Before applying, confirm the specific role supports sponsorship by asking the recruiter early in the process. Affirm's operations hiring often moves quickly, so having your resume tailored to fintech workflows and data tools like SQL gives you an edge.
Which visa types does Affirm commonly use for Operations Analyst roles?
Affirm sponsors H-1B, TN, and F-1 OPT and CPT for Operations Analyst positions, and has also supported EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways for longer-tenured employees. TN is available to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying roles. F-1 students on STEM OPT have a 24-month extension option, giving Affirm more runway to complete H-1B sponsorship if a lottery attempt is unsuccessful.
What qualifications does Affirm expect for Operations Analyst candidates?
Affirm typically looks for a bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business-related field, combined with hands-on experience in data analysis, process improvement, or financial operations. Proficiency in SQL is frequently listed as a requirement, not a preference. Candidates with fintech, payments, or lending operations backgrounds tend to align most directly with the workflows Affirm's ops teams manage across merchant and consumer products.
How do I time my application around the H-1B cap if I'm on OPT?
H-1B cap registrations open each March for an October 1 start date. If you're on F-1 OPT, you need to be employed at Affirm before your OPT expires so they can submit your registration. If you're on a STEM OPT extension, your authorization window extends up to 24 months, which covers two full lottery cycles and gives you a meaningful buffer if the first registration isn't selected.
