Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Electrical Project Manager Jobs at Aldridge Electric Jobs
Align Your Credentials to Electrical Specialty
Aldridge Electric staffs project managers on high-voltage, substation, and utility-scale work. Before applying, verify your credentials reflect electrical infrastructure experience, not just general construction. A PE license or OSHA certification strengthens a sponsorship case considerably.
Target Roles with Active Regional Pipelines
Aldridge operates across multiple service territories, and project manager openings often cluster around active utility contracts. Search by region, not just job title, to find postings tied to funded work where hiring decisions move faster and sponsorship approvals are more straightforward.
Address Sponsorship Directly in Your Cover Letter
Consulting and professional services firms weigh sponsorship cost against project billing timelines. State your visa type, your current work authorization end date, and the specific petition type you need early in your application materials so recruiters can assess fit before advancing your candidacy.
Understand TN Eligibility Before Your Interview
Canadian and Mexican engineers targeting this role may qualify for TN status under the engineer category, which avoids the H-1B lottery entirely. Confirm your degree is in an eligible discipline and that the role description explicitly aligns with engineering functions, since DOL scrutinizes job duty descriptions at the TN border crossing.
Time Your Application Around the H-1B Registration Window
If you need H-1B sponsorship, USCIS opens registration in March for an October 1 start date. Secure a verbal commitment from Aldridge before February so your employer has time to engage immigration counsel, complete the Labor Condition Application with DOL, and meet registration deadlines without rushing.
Use Migrate Mate to Surface Active Openings
Aldridge Electric's Electrical Project Manager listings span multiple job boards and update frequently as utility contracts open. Use Migrate Mate to filter for Aldridge postings that explicitly support visa sponsorship, so you're applying to verified openings rather than roles where sponsorship eligibility is ambiguous.

Find Electrical Project Manager at Aldridge Electric JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Aldridge Electric sponsor H-1B visas for Electrical Project Managers?
Yes, Aldridge Electric has sponsored H-1B visas for technical roles including Electrical Project Managers. Sponsorship is evaluated on a case-by-case basis, and the company typically works with outside immigration counsel to manage the process. Because H-1B selection depends on the annual lottery, candidates are encouraged to have their employer relationship in place well before the March registration window opens.
Which visa types are commonly used for Electrical Project Manager roles at Aldridge Electric?
H-1B is the most common pathway for international candidates in this role, particularly those with U.S.-based degrees completing F-1 OPT or CPT. Canadian and Mexican nationals with engineering degrees may qualify for TN status, which bypasses the lottery entirely. Each visa type has different employer obligations, so confirm which applies to your situation before applying.
What qualifications or experience does Aldridge Electric expect for Electrical Project Manager roles?
Aldridge typically looks for candidates with experience managing electrical construction or utility infrastructure projects, a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a closely related field, and familiarity with high-voltage or substation work. A Professional Engineer license is a meaningful differentiator. Project managers are expected to own budgets, subcontractor relationships, and schedule delivery from contract award through commissioning.
How do I apply for Electrical Project Manager jobs at Aldridge Electric?
You can find Aldridge Electric's Electrical Project Manager openings on Migrate Mate, which filters listings by visa sponsorship eligibility so you can confirm support before investing time in an application. When applying, submit a resume that clearly reflects electrical infrastructure project experience and include your visa status and any authorization timeline in your cover letter to avoid delays at the recruiter screening stage.
How do I manage the timeline between an offer and my visa filing for this role?
Once Aldridge extends a conditional offer, your employer needs to file a Labor Condition Application with DOL before submitting an H-1B petition to USCIS. The LCA typically clears within seven business days. For an October 1 start, the full sequence including lottery registration, selection, and petition approval takes roughly six months. Candidates already on F-1 OPT can often begin work while the petition is pending through the cap-gap rule.
