Document your field certifications before applying
Aldridge Electric's Construction roles often require OSHA, NFPA, or project management credentials. Pull together your certifications, transcripts, and any equivalency evaluations before submitting applications so you're not scrambling after an offer.
Target roles tied to infrastructure contracts
Aldridge focuses heavily on utility and infrastructure projects. Roles attached to long-term contracts are more likely to justify the time and cost of visa sponsorship, so prioritize those openings over short-term or seasonal postings.
Browse open Construction roles on Migrate Mate
Use Migrate Mate to filter Aldridge Electric's Construction openings by visa type before applying. This lets you confirm which roles are actively open to sponsored candidates before investing time in your application.
Understand how TN status fits your background
Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying engineering or technical roles can enter on TN status, which USCIS processes quickly and doesn't require lottery selection. Confirm with the hiring team whether your specific Construction role maps to an eligible TN occupation category.
Prepare for a longer offer-to-start timeline
H-1B petitions without premium processing can take several months for USCIS to adjudicate. Factor that into your negotiations around start date and communicate your current authorization status clearly so Aldridge can sequence the filing correctly.

Find Construction at Aldridge Electric JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Aldridge Electric sponsor H-1B visas for Construction roles?
Yes, Aldridge Electric has sponsored H-1B visas for Construction-related positions. Sponsorship is most common for roles requiring specialized technical qualifications. If you're applying from F-1 OPT or another status, the company's track record with H-1B filings means a structured petition process is in place, though timelines depend on USCIS adjudication and whether premium processing is used.
How do I apply for Construction jobs at Aldridge Electric?
You can find open Construction roles at Aldridge Electric by browsing Migrate Mate, which filters listings by visa sponsorship type so you can confirm eligibility before applying. Once you identify a role, apply directly through Aldridge's careers portal and be upfront about your visa status in your application or initial recruiter screen to avoid delays later in the process.
Which visa types does Aldridge Electric commonly use for Construction positions?
Aldridge Electric has used H-1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and TN visas for Construction roles. F-1 CPT and OPT are common entry points for recent graduates before transitioning to H-1B. TN is an efficient option for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying technical categories, as it bypasses the H-1B lottery entirely.
What qualifications does Aldridge Electric expect for sponsored Construction roles?
Most sponsored Construction roles at Aldridge require a bachelor's degree in civil, electrical, or construction engineering, or a closely related field. Practical field experience, familiarity with utility or infrastructure project delivery, and relevant certifications like OSHA 30 or PMP strengthen your profile. For H-1B eligibility, your degree must align specifically with the duties of the role.
How do I plan my timeline when pursuing a sponsored Construction role at Aldridge Electric?
If you need H-1B sponsorship, the annual cap lottery runs in March for an October 1 start, so you'll want an offer in hand by late February at the latest. For TN or OPT transitions, timelines are shorter, but you should still account for USCIS processing time. Discuss your current authorization expiry with Aldridge's HR team as early as possible in the interview process.
