Frame your credentials around infrastructure project delivery
Aldridge Electric operates in electrical infrastructure and specialty contracting, so your resume should emphasize program lifecycle management, field coordination, and multi-site delivery. Generic project management framing won't stand out against candidates with construction or utilities experience.
Verify your PMP or equivalent certification is current
Project Program Manager roles at contracting firms like Aldridge Electric frequently list PMP certification as a hard requirement. Before applying, confirm your certification is active and your PDUs are up to date so your application clears initial screening.
Target open roles across multiple Aldridge regional offices
Aldridge Electric operates across several U.S. regions, and sponsorship decisions are often made at the business unit level. Applying to postings in multiple regions increases your chances of finding a hiring manager with both budget and sponsorship approval authority.
Clarify TN eligibility early if you're Canadian or Mexican
TN status for management consultants requires demonstrating that the role involves professional-level consulting services. If your Project Program Manager role at Aldridge involves directing internal construction crews rather than advising clients, confirm the job duties meet DOL's TN classification criteria before accepting an offer.
Use Migrate Mate to filter Project Program Manager openings by sponsorship type
Aldridge Electric posts roles across multiple job boards, but not all listings specify visa sponsorship. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for Aldridge openings that are open to H-1B, OPT, or TN candidates, so you're not wasting applications on roles that won't sponsor.
Align your offer timing with H-1B cap deadlines
If you need cap-subject H-1B sponsorship, USCIS registration opens in March for an October 1 start. Negotiate your offer start date accordingly and confirm with the recruiter that Aldridge's legal team will file the I-129 petition within that window.

Does Aldridge Electric sponsor H-1B visas for Project Program Managers?
Yes, Aldridge Electric has sponsored H-1B visas for Project Program Manager roles. Sponsorship is not automatic with every offer, so confirm the company's willingness to file during the offer stage. If you need a cap-subject H-1B, your start date will need to align with the October 1 USCIS fiscal year window, which means having an offer in place before the March registration period.
How do I apply for Project Program Manager jobs at Aldridge Electric?
Applications go through Aldridge Electric's careers portal, where Project Program Manager postings are listed by region and business unit. You can also find their open roles on Migrate Mate, which filters listings by visa sponsorship type so you can confirm a position is open to your status before applying. Tailor your application to highlight infrastructure program delivery experience relevant to Aldridge's electrical contracting work.
Which visa types does Aldridge Electric commonly use for Project Program Manager roles?
Aldridge Electric has supported H-1B sponsorship for Project Program Managers, which is the most common path for candidates already in the U.S. on F-1 OPT or transitioning from another nonimmigrant status. F-1 CPT can apply for internship-track program roles. Canadian and Mexican nationals should assess whether TN classification applies based on the specific duties of the role, as TN eligibility depends on how the position is structured.
What qualifications does Aldridge Electric expect for Project Program Manager candidates?
Aldridge Electric typically looks for candidates with a bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related technical field, along with hands-on experience managing large-scale infrastructure or electrical construction programs. PMP certification is commonly listed as a requirement. Experience coordinating across subcontractors, field crews, and client stakeholders in a specialty contracting environment is a strong differentiator in their hiring process.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for a Project Program Manager offer at Aldridge Electric?
Timeline depends on visa type. For H-1B, standard USCIS processing for an I-129 petition can run several months, though premium processing reduces that to 15 business days. F-1 OPT extensions through the 24-month STEM OPT program require filing with your Designated School Official at least 90 days before your current EAD expires. Build these timelines into your offer negotiation so your start date is realistic and your employer has enough lead time to file.
