ABOUT THE ROLE
Bright Machines is building a next-gen, software-defined manufacturing platform powered by robotics, perception, and AI-enabled quality systems. As a Senior/Staff Product Manager, you will own the vision and long-term strategy for our robotics software and controls platform — the intelligent core that enables scalable deployment, AI-driven quality, and faster time from silicon to revenue. You will define what we build, why it matters, and how it differentiates Bright Machines in the market. You will influence executive direction, shape platform architecture decisions, and guide multi-year roadmap investments across robotics, controls, perception, and ML-enabled systems. You will operate as the product leader for a foundational platform capability — partnering closely with R&D, Operations, and Customer teams to align business outcomes with technical execution.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Own and articulate the long-term product vision for Bright Machines’ robotics software and controls platform.
- Define and drive a multi-year roadmap that balances platform scalability, customer differentiation, deployment velocity, and architectural integrity.
- Translate executive strategy and customer needs into system-level product requirements that guide engineering investment.
- Lead cross-functional prioritization across robotics software, real-time controls, perception systems, ML pipelines, and hardware interfaces.
- Influence architectural decisions by grounding trade-offs in market impact, scalability, and business value.
- Establish measurable product success metrics tied to real-world production outcomes (yield, reliability, ramp time, cost of deployment, performance).
- Represent the platform strategy in executive forums and customer engagements, articulating technical differentiation and roadmap direction.
- Partner tightly with the Program Management team to ensure product intent translates into disciplined program execution.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- 8+ years of Product Management experience in robotics, next-gen automation, AI/ML systems, or complex software-driven hardware platforms.
- Demonstrated ownership of platform-level products with multi-team impact.
- Strong technical fluency in robotics software, controls systems, perception, ML-enabled production systems, and hardware/software integration.
- Experience influencing executive stakeholders and shaping investment decisions.
- Track record of defining and delivering differentiated platform capabilities in competitive markets.
- Experience operating in high-growth, high-ambiguity environments with strong engineering cultures.
- Exceptional communication skills — able to move fluidly between engineers, executives, and customers.
IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAD
- Experience in Industrial Robotics
- Experience working with current automation platforms such as Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and associated development environments.
- Understanding of factory KPIs and practical experience driving their improvement
- Understanding of manufacturing logistics
- Understanding of MES and ERP systems supporting the existing manufacturing market

Job Roles at Bright Machines Companies
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Bright Machines Visa Sponsorship USA
Target engineering and robotics roles first
Bright Machines concentrates its sponsorship on highly technical positions in software, robotics, and machine learning. Focus your application on roles where your degree and experience directly align with industrial automation, where sponsorship is most likely to be offered.
Understand which visa types Bright Machines uses
Bright Machines sponsors H-1B and Green Card pathways, along with F-1 OPT and TN visas. Knowing this before you apply lets you ask informed questions about their process and signal to recruiters that you understand the sponsorship requirements involved.
Lead with your specialty occupation credentials
Because H-1B sponsorship requires demonstrating a specialty occupation, emphasize your degree field's direct relevance to the role. For Bright Machines, that means clearly connecting your background in computer science, electrical engineering, or related disciplines to the specific job description.
Use Migrate Mate to verify open sponsored roles
Bright Machines has a track record of sponsoring technical talent. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, helping you confirm which Bright Machines openings are genuinely open to international candidates before you apply.
Apply early in the hiring cycle for H-1B consideration
H-1B sponsorship requires filing by April each year for an October start date. Engaging with Bright Machines recruiters by late January or early February gives both sides enough time to complete paperwork and meet the annual USCIS registration deadline comfortably.
Highlight experience with industrial software or embedded systems
Bright Machines operates at the intersection of hardware and software. Candidates who can demonstrate hands-on experience with industrial control systems, computer vision, or factory automation platforms stand out most in a competitive applicant pool where sponsorship decisions are performance-driven.

Get Access To All JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Bright Machines sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Bright Machines sponsors H-1B visas, primarily for technical roles in software engineering, robotics, and automation. The company has a consistent track record of H-1B sponsorship, though filings are concentrated in specialized positions rather than applied broadly across the organization. Candidates with a qualifying degree in a directly related field are best positioned to receive an offer that includes sponsorship.
What visa types does Bright Machines sponsor?
Bright Machines sponsors H-1B and Green Card visas, and also supports F-1 OPT and TN visa holders. This range makes the company accessible to recent international graduates on OPT, Canadian and Mexican nationals eligible for TN status, and experienced professionals seeking long-term H-1B or permanent residence pathways in the United States.
Which roles at Bright Machines are most likely to come with visa sponsorship?
Sponsorship at Bright Machines is concentrated in engineering-heavy functions, particularly software engineering, machine learning, computer vision, and robotics. These roles require specialized technical degrees and are well-suited to the specialty occupation standard that H-1B sponsorship depends on. Candidates targeting product, operations, or generalist roles may find sponsorship less consistently available.
How do I find open roles at Bright Machines that offer visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is the most reliable way to find roles at verified sponsors like Bright Machines. You can filter by visa type and sponsorship history to confirm which openings are genuinely available to international candidates, rather than spending time on listings that don't explicitly support sponsorship. This saves significant effort during a high-stakes job search.
How do I approach the application process at Bright Machines as an international candidate?
Be upfront about your visa status early in the process. Bright Machines has experience navigating H-1B and Green Card filings, so recruiters are familiar with the timelines involved. Emphasize your technical depth and how your qualifications map directly to the role, since sponsorship decisions at companies like Bright Machines are closely tied to whether a position meets the specialty occupation threshold.
