Align your credentials with insurance accounting standards
Cambia operates in a heavily regulated insurance environment, so highlight experience with statutory accounting principles, GAAP reconciliation, or insurance reserve reporting on your resume. These specifics signal you can hit the ground running in a health plan finance function.
Target Cambia's Portland-area finance postings first
Cambia's corporate accounting openings concentrate around its Pacific Northwest headquarters. Filtering by location when searching narrows your pool to roles most likely backed by established sponsorship infrastructure, where hiring managers have processed international candidates before.
Track your OPT expiration against Cambia's hiring cycle
F-1 OPT gives you 12 months of work authorization, with a possible 24-month STEM extension if your accounting role qualifies. Confirm your degree program's STEM eligibility early, since Cambia's TN and EB sponsorship processes require a gap-free employment timeline.
Ask recruiters directly about EB-2 versus EB-3 routing
Cambia has sponsored both EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards for corporate accounting roles. The distinction matters for your PERM timeline and priority date. Ask during the offer stage which pathway their legal team typically uses for this function, not after you've signed.
Use Migrate Mate to surface Cambia's active openings
Cambia posts Corporate Accountant roles across multiple job boards inconsistently. Use Migrate Mate to find and monitor Cambia's current openings filtered by visa sponsorship type, so you're applying to roles with confirmed sponsorship eligibility rather than guessing from a generic job listing.
Prepare your Canadian or Mexican credential documentation for TN
If you're a Canadian or Mexican citizen, Cambia sponsors TN visas for accounting roles. USCIS and CBP require a credential evaluation confirming your degree meets the accountant or CPA designation under the TN classification. Have that evaluation ready before your offer letter is finalized.

Does Cambia Health Solutions sponsor H-1B visas for Corporate Accountants?
Cambia Health Solutions has historically focused its visa sponsorship for Corporate Accountant roles on employment-based Green Card pathways (EB-2 and EB-3) and F-1 OPT rather than H-1B cap-subject petitions. If H-1B sponsorship is a requirement for your situation, raise it directly with the recruiter early in the process, since sponsorship decisions are made at the hiring manager and legal team level.
How do I apply for Corporate Accountant jobs at Cambia Health Solutions?
Applications go through Cambia's careers portal at cambiahealth.com. Before applying, verify the specific posting notes sponsorship eligibility, as not every Corporate Accountant listing will include it. Migrate Mate filters Cambia's active openings by visa type, which saves time identifying the right roles before submitting a full application.
Which visa types does Cambia Health Solutions commonly use for Corporate Accountant roles?
For Corporate Accountant positions, Cambia has sponsored F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, TN visas for Canadian and Mexican nationals, and employment-based Green Cards through the EB-2 and EB-3 categories. The EB pathway typically involves PERM labor certification filed with the DOL before an I-140 petition is submitted to USCIS. Availability depends on the specific role and your immigration status.
What qualifications does Cambia Health Solutions expect for Corporate Accountant roles?
Most Corporate Accountant postings at Cambia require a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, with preference for candidates who have experience in financial close processes, GAAP reporting, or insurance industry accounting. CPA licensure or progress toward it is valued. Experience with health insurance statutory reporting or managed care finance strengthens an application meaningfully in this industry.
How do I understand the timeline for a Green Card through Cambia Health Solutions?
The EB-2 or EB-3 Green Card process at an employer like Cambia typically starts with PERM labor certification at the DOL, which can take 12 to 18 months or longer if audited. An I-140 petition follows, and then adjustment of status or consular processing depending on your priority date. Beginning this conversation during the offer negotiation stage, not after onboarding, gives you the clearest picture.
