Job Roles at Cantor Fitzgerald Companies
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Cantor Fitzgerald Visa Sponsorship USA
Target roles in capital markets and investment banking
Cantor Fitzgerald's core business spans investment banking, brokerage, and asset management. H-1B sponsorship at financial firms tends to concentrate in technical and analytical roles, so focus your applications on areas like trading, research, and structured finance.
Demonstrate specialized financial expertise
Cantor Fitzgerald operates in highly specialized markets. Applicants with deep knowledge in fixed income, equities, or alternative investments are better positioned. Highlight sector-specific skills and credentials like CFA or Series licenses that signal immediate value.
Engage early with their recruiting cycle
Financial services firms typically run structured hiring cycles tied to the H-1B cap deadline in April. Reaching out in the fall and applying early in the calendar year gives you the best chance of securing sponsorship before cap season closes.
Position yourself as a niche specialist, not a generalist
At a firm like Cantor Fitzgerald, sponsorship is most likely for candidates who fill a specific gap. Frame your application around a distinct expertise, a product area, market, or skill set, rather than broad financial services experience.
Research verified sponsors before applying broadly
Not every financial firm sponsors visas at the same rate. Focus your effort on confirmed sponsors like Cantor Fitzgerald. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and avoid wasting time on firms that don't sponsor.
Prepare to address sponsorship costs directly with recruiters
Investment management firms are often willing to sponsor but want candidates who understand the process. Going into conversations knowing the H-1B timeline, cap lottery, and petition process shows maturity and makes sponsorship feel less like a risk to the employer.

Does Cantor Fitzgerald sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Cantor Fitzgerald sponsors H-1B visas. The firm has an active sponsorship track record in the investment and asset management space, with filings on record for professional roles across its business lines. While sponsorship is not guaranteed for every open position, it is a legitimate option for qualified candidates in technical and financial roles.
What types of roles at Cantor Fitzgerald are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Sponsorship at Cantor Fitzgerald tends to align with specialized roles in capital markets, investment banking, research, and financial analysis. Positions requiring advanced quantitative skills or sector-specific expertise in areas like fixed income or structured products are the strongest candidates. Front-office and highly technical roles are more commonly sponsored than generalist or support functions.
How do I find open H-1B sponsored jobs at Cantor Fitzgerald?
The most reliable approach is to filter specifically for confirmed sponsors rather than guessing. Migrate Mate aggregates visa-sponsored job listings from firms with verified sponsorship histories, including investment and asset management companies like Cantor Fitzgerald. You can filter by visa type and industry to surface relevant openings directly, without sorting through firms that don't sponsor.
What is the typical timeline for H-1B sponsorship at a firm like Cantor Fitzgerald?
The H-1B process runs on a fixed government calendar. Employers file petitions in early April for a lottery that determines selection, with approved visas taking effect October 1. For candidates already in the U.S. on another status, a change of status can run concurrently. Plan to have an offer in hand by February or March to give your employer enough lead time.
Is Cantor Fitzgerald likely to sponsor international candidates with no prior U.S. work experience?
It is possible, but competitive. Cantor Fitzgerald, like most financial services firms, prioritizes candidates who can demonstrate immediate impact in specialized roles. International candidates with strong academic credentials, relevant internships, or expertise in specific financial products have a realistic path. Coming in through a structured graduate or analyst recruitment program can also improve your chances of receiving sponsorship.
