Target roles in asset management and credit
CIM Group's sponsorship activity is concentrated in investment and asset management functions. Analysts, associates, and finance professionals with backgrounds in real assets or credit are most likely to be considered for visa sponsorship at this firm.
Highlight your Australian credentials if you hold an E-3
CIM Group has sponsored E-3 visas, making it a viable path for Australian nationals. Lead with your E-3 eligibility early in your application, it signals lower cost and administrative burden for the employer compared to other visa types.
Understand that sponsorship here is selective
CIM Group is not a high-volume sponsor, so positions that attract sponsorship tend to require specialized skills. Focus your application on roles where your expertise in investment management, credit analysis, or real estate finance is genuinely differentiated.
Position yourself for long-term sponsorship, not just entry-level
CIM Group's Green Card sponsorship suggests the firm invests in retaining skilled foreign nationals over time. Frame your application around long-term value and career growth within asset management, not just immediate role fit.
Browse verified sponsorship opportunities before applying
Before cold-applying, confirm which roles are realistically open to visa sponsorship. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and avoid wasting applications on firms that don't sponsor your visa type.
Align your application materials with institutional investment culture
CIM Group operates in institutional real assets and credit markets. Your resume and cover letter should reflect quantitative rigor, deal experience, or portfolio management skills, the language and framing that resonates with asset management hiring teams.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does CIM Group sponsor H-1B visas?
Based on available visa disclosure data, CIM Group does not have a recorded history of sponsoring H-1B visas. Its sponsorship activity has focused on E-3 visas for Australian nationals and employment-based Green Cards. If you're not eligible for an E-3, the Green Card pathway may still be relevant depending on your qualifications and the role.
Which visa types does CIM Group sponsor?
CIM Group has sponsored E-3 visas and employment-based Green Cards, specifically EB-2 and EB-3 categories. The E-3 is exclusively available to Australian citizens and is generally faster and less costly for employers. Green Card sponsorship signals a willingness to support long-term immigration commitments for the right candidates.
What types of roles at CIM Group are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
CIM Group's sponsorship history is concentrated in investment and asset management functions. Roles in real assets, credit analysis, portfolio management, and related finance disciplines are the most realistic targets. Positions requiring specialized institutional investment expertise are more likely to attract sponsorship than generalist or support roles.
How do I find open jobs at CIM Group that offer visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate lets you browse open positions at verified visa sponsors like CIM Group, filtered by sponsorship type and visa category. This saves time compared to manually researching each employer's immigration history. Once you identify a relevant role, confirm sponsorship eligibility directly with the hiring team during the interview process.
How do I approach the application process at CIM Group as a visa-requiring candidate?
Be upfront about your visa status early, but lead with your qualifications. CIM Group operates in specialized investment markets, so demonstrating deep expertise in real assets or credit is your strongest asset. If you're an Australian national, note your E-3 eligibility, it's a practical advantage that reduces employer burden and can accelerate the sponsorship process.
