We are looking for a full-time Office Assistant to join our Mental Health Clinic in Mankato! The primary location of this position will be in our Mankato office, however training/orientation may happen at both clinics (St. Peter and Mankato). This position requires timeliness, dependability, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
HOURS OF THE POSITION WILL BE:
Monday to Thursday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
Fridays from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
A 30-minute unpaid lunch break is built into the schedule.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
This position requires:
- A reliable and punctual individual that can work with a variety of individuals of various ages including small children and their families.
- The ability to provide excellent customer services while multi-tasking, completing client check ins, answering calls, scheduling appointments, and monitoring the lobby.
- Scanning documents and being a support staff completing time sensitive requests from staff is required. Special projects may be assigned on a regular basis.
- Transcription skills are beneficial.
- The right candidate will be or become efficient in working with an electronic medical record system.
- Attention to detail and effective computer skills are required.
- Familiarity with HIPAA rules and regulations and confidentiality of mental health records and services preferred.
This position requires opening and closing procedures for the office.
Bilingual (Spanish) skills are preferred.
