About the Role:
As an AI-forward Full Stack Product Manager at Crunchbase, you will accelerate how we apply AI, automation, and connected systems across the company. This role sits within the Product organization and focuses on building and evolving internal AI-powered applications that increase operational velocity, reduce manual work, and improve how teams execute. You will identify friction across workflows, redesign brittle processes, and ship practical solutions that meaningfully improve how work gets done. This is not a strategy-only role. You will operate as a builder. You will rapidly design, prototype, and launch internal AI-driven tools. You will not “own” every system, but you will modernize, connect, and evolve them so they work better together and materially reduce operational drag. This role is about applied AI, system-level thinking, and execution at speed.
- Identify and Eliminate Operational Friction:
- Identify manual, repetitive, or brittle workflows across the organization
- Redesign processes using AI, automation, and system-level improvements
- Reduce low-leverage work to create space for higher-value thinking
- Improve interoperability, reliability, and observability across internal systems
- Build and Ship Internal AI Applications:
- Rapidly design, prototype, and launch AI-driven internal applications
- Turn rough ideas into working solutions that can be tested and validated quickly
- Use lightweight, iterative development approaches to accelerate time-to-value
-
Continuously refine and improve tools based on real-world usage and feedback
-
Drive Practical AI Adoption:
- Push the organization toward applied, usable AI — not experimentation for its own sake
- Evaluate emerging AI tools and technologies for pragmatic internal use cases
- Help teams rethink how work gets done in an AI-enabled operating model
-
Ensure AI implementations drive measurable efficiency, speed, or quality improvements
-
Partner Across the Business:
- Work directly with business leaders to understand operational pain points
- Translate ambiguous needs into structured product and technical solutions
- Operate comfortably across Product, Engineering, and business functions
- Align solutions with company-wide goals and measurable outcomes
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in Product Management, Technical Product Management, or a related technical builder role
- Experience building or implementing AI-powered applications, automation workflows, or internal systems
- Demonstrated experience operating at the intersection of business and engineering
- Track record of rapidly prototyping and launching practical solutions that improve operational efficiency
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred (or equivalent practical experience)
- Strong technical foundation in AI, internal systems, automation, and modern tooling
- Ability to design, prototype, and ship working AI-driven solutions independently
- Systems thinker who understands both technical architecture and human workflow design
- Comfortable navigating and improving existing tools without rigid definitions or guardrails
- Builder mindset — prototypes quickly, iterates frequently, and ships practical solutions
- Operates effectively in ambiguity and proactively identifies inefficiencies others overlook
- Action-oriented with a strong bias toward execution and measurable outcomes
- Ability to translate ambiguous business needs into structured product and technical solutions
- Comfortable working across Product, Engineering, and business functions
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- Demonstrated curiosity and fluency in emerging AI tools and capabilities

Align your stack with Crunchbase's product architecture
Crunchbase's engineering roles consistently surface React, Node.js, and data-intensive backend work. Before applying, audit your resume to surface experience with API-driven platforms and large-scale data products, not just general web development.
Request explicit sponsorship confirmation before final rounds
Before your offer stage, ask the recruiter whether the specific role is approved for the visa type you need. Technology companies sometimes scope sponsorship by role level or team budget, so confirm it in writing rather than assuming.
Use Migrate Mate to filter open Full Stack Engineer roles
Sponsorship eligibility varies by role, not just by company. Use Migrate Mate to filter Crunchbase's Full Stack Engineer openings by the visa type you need, so you're only spending time on positions where sponsorship is actually on the table.
Build a PERM-ready employment record before your EB application
Crunchbase sponsors EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards, but PERM requires DOL to verify no qualified U.S. workers are available. Document your specialization in data platform engineering or full-stack product development clearly so your role description is defensible at audit.

Does Crunchbase sponsor H-1B visas for Full Stack Engineers?
Crunchbase's sponsorship history for Full Stack Engineers is concentrated in visa categories like F-1 OPT, TN, and Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3. H-1B sponsorship depends on role-level budget approval and lottery selection. If you're targeting Crunchbase specifically, confirm H-1B eligibility directly with their recruiting team during the screening stage, before investing time in later rounds.
How do I apply for Full Stack Engineer jobs at Crunchbase?
Applications go through Crunchbase's careers page, where Full Stack Engineer openings are listed by team and seniority. Tailor your resume to reflect experience with API development, data pipelines, and frontend frameworks relevant to their product stack. Migrate Mate also aggregates Crunchbase's open Full Stack Engineer roles filtered by visa sponsorship type, which helps you identify which specific positions align with your work authorization situation before applying.
Which visa types does Crunchbase commonly sponsor for Full Stack Engineers?
Crunchbase sponsors F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, TN, and employment-based Green Cards at the EB-2 and EB-3 levels for Full Stack Engineers. TN is available to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying occupational categories. F-1 OPT and CPT are common entry points for recent graduates transitioning from U.S. universities. Green Card sponsorship through PERM is typically available for established employees rather than new hires.
What qualifications and experience does Crunchbase expect for Full Stack Engineer roles?
Crunchbase's Full Stack Engineer roles typically require strong proficiency in both frontend frameworks like React and backend systems involving APIs and databases at scale. Experience building data-rich product features is particularly relevant given the company's focus on business intelligence infrastructure. Roles vary by seniority, but engineers who can own features end-to-end, from data modeling through UI delivery, are consistently competitive.
How do I plan my timeline if I need visa sponsorship at Crunchbase?
Timeline planning depends heavily on which visa category applies to you. TN sponsorship can typically be arranged within weeks for qualifying Canadian or Mexican nationals. F-1 OPT extensions require filing at least 90 days before expiration, per USCIS guidance. For EB-2 or EB-3 Green Card sponsorship, the PERM process with DOL adds significant lead time, often 12 to 24 months before a Green Card petition can be filed.
