Align Your Degree with Food Science Roles
Daisy Brand's Research positions typically require backgrounds in food science, dairy technology, or a related applied science. Frame your credentials around product formulation or quality systems, not just general biology or chemistry, to clear the specialty occupation bar.
Browse Verified Sponsoring Employers on Migrate Mate
Use Migrate Mate to filter Research openings at companies with a confirmed sponsorship history in Food and Beverage. It saves you from applying blind to roles where sponsorship is unlikely to materialize.
Prepare a Specialty Occupation Evidence File
For H-1B filings, USCIS scrutinizes whether a Research role genuinely requires a specific degree. Gather the job description, industry salary data from DOL's wage library, and any internal documentation showing degree requirements for your exact position before your employer files.
Confirm TN Eligibility Before Accepting an Offer
Canadian and Mexican nationals in food science or chemistry may qualify for TN status, which can be approved at the port of entry without USCIS processing delays. Verify your job title maps to an eligible TN category under the USMCA professional list before signing.
Coordinate H-1B Timing with Daisy Brand's HR Team
H-1B cap-subject petitions must be filed in April for an October 1 start date. If your OPT expires before October, ask HR whether cap-gap protection applies and whether they'll support a cap-exempt filing through a university partnership to bridge the gap.

Does Daisy Brand sponsor H-1B visas for Research roles?
Yes, Daisy Brand has sponsored H-1B visas for Research positions. Sponsorship is not automatic with every offer, so confirm the company's willingness to file a petition during early conversations with the hiring manager or HR. Research roles grounded in food science or dairy technology generally meet USCIS's specialty occupation standard, which strengthens the petition.
How do I apply for Research jobs at Daisy Brand?
Applications go through Daisy Brand's careers portal. Tailor your resume to highlight food science, product development, or quality assurance experience relevant to dairy manufacturing. Migrate Mate also lists open Research roles at Daisy Brand alongside verified sponsorship information, so you can confirm visa support before investing time in the application process.
Which visa types are commonly used for Research roles at Daisy Brand?
Daisy Brand has a history of supporting H-1B, F-1 OPT, and TN visas for Research functions. F-1 OPT is the most straightforward entry point since it requires no employer petition. TN works well for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying scientific fields. H-1B is the long-term path but requires navigating the annual lottery.
What qualifications does Daisy Brand expect for Research positions?
Most Research roles require at minimum a bachelor's degree in food science, dairy science, chemistry, or a closely related applied science. Advanced degrees improve competitiveness for formulation or innovation-focused positions. Hands-on lab experience, familiarity with dairy processing standards, and knowledge of FDA food safety regulations are practical differentiators beyond academic credentials.
How do I time my application around visa filing deadlines?
If you're targeting an H-1B, the cap lottery registration window opens in March and petitions are filed in April for an October 1 start. Plan to have an offer in hand by February. For OPT transitions, initiate the application at least 90 days before your current authorization ends to avoid a work authorization gap that could delay your start date.
