Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding HR Generalist Jobs at Deloitte Jobs
Target Deloitte's internal HR service centers
Deloitte operates centralized HR shared service teams that hire Generalists at scale. These teams cycle through structured hiring rounds, so filtering job listings by HR Operations or Talent Services gives you a more predictable application window than one-off openings.
Browse open HR Generalist roles on Migrate Mate
Migrate Mate filters Deloitte's active HR Generalist listings by visa sponsorship eligibility, so you can identify which postings are open to sponsored candidates before spending time on a full application.
Prepare for behavioral interviews tied to consulting culture
Deloitte's HR interviews emphasize client-service mindset and business partnering, not just HR administration. Frame your experience around supporting business units directly, using metrics where possible, since that language maps to how the firm structures HR support internally.
Confirm your offer letter addresses visa filing timing
Once you receive an offer, verify with Deloitte's immigration team whether your start date allows a cap-subject H-1B filing or if a change-of-status petition is needed. The H-1B cap deadline in March and the October 1 start date affect whether you can begin work before the visa is approved.

Find HR Generalist at Deloitte JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Deloitte sponsor H-1B visas for HR Generalists?
Yes, Deloitte sponsors H-1B visas for HR Generalist roles where the position qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field. Deloitte has a dedicated immigration team that manages petition filings, LCA submissions with the DOL, and USCIS processing, so the infrastructure is well-established for eligible candidates.
How do I apply for HR Generalist jobs at Deloitte?
You can apply directly through Deloitte's careers site, where HR Generalist roles are posted under Talent, Human Resources, or People & Culture. You can also use Migrate Mate to browse Deloitte's active HR Generalist openings filtered by visa sponsorship eligibility, which helps you focus on roles where international candidates are actively considered before submitting an application.
Which visa types does Deloitte commonly use for HR Generalist roles?
Deloitte sponsors H-1B visas for most internationally hired HR Generalists, along with H-1B1 visas for eligible Chilean and Singaporean nationals, and E-3 visas for Australian citizens. For permanent residency, Deloitte supports EB-2 and EB-3 pathways, which typically require PERM labor certification filed with the DOL before an immigrant petition can be submitted to USCIS.
What qualifications does Deloitte expect for HR Generalist roles?
Deloitte typically expects a bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or organizational psychology, along with experience in employee relations, HR operations, or talent management. For visa sponsorship purposes, your degree field needs to align directly with the HR Generalist role. Certifications such as SHRM-CP or PHR strengthen your application and help support the specialty occupation determination required for H-1B and E-3 petitions.
How long does it take to get an H-1B visa sponsored by Deloitte?
If you require a cap-subject H-1B, Deloitte must register you in the USCIS lottery each March, with an earliest possible start date of October 1 if selected. From offer letter to work authorization, plan for six months minimum under this path. If you're already on a valid nonimmigrant status such as F-1 OPT or L-1, a change-of-status filing can run three to five months without premium processing.
