Align Your Actuarial Credentials Before Applying
Deloitte's actuarial roles typically expect progress toward ASA or FSA designation. Confirm your exam progress is current and your credential transcript is ready to share, since hiring teams screen for this before extending offers.
Target Practices That Match Your Specialty
Deloitte staffs Actuaries across distinct practice areas including insurance, life sciences, and pension risk. Applying to the practice that matches your technical background improves your fit score and signals you understand how the firm is structured.
Find Open Roles Using Migrate Mate
Browse Actuary openings at Deloitte filtered by visa sponsorship eligibility on Migrate Mate. It surfaces roles where Deloitte has an active sponsorship track record, so you're not guessing which postings are actually accessible to you.
Prepare for Client Site Mobility Requirements
Consulting Actuaries at Deloitte are often deployed to client locations. If your petition is filed for a primary office but you're assigned elsewhere, Deloitte's immigration team may need to file amended LCAs with DOL to cover those work sites.

Find Actuary at Deloitte JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Deloitte sponsor H-1B visas for Actuarys?
Yes, Deloitte sponsors H-1B visas for Actuary roles. The firm has an established immigration support process and works with candidates across multiple visa categories. Because H-1B selection depends on the annual USCIS lottery, timing your application to align with the April filing window is important if you need initial H-1B status.
How do I apply for Actuary jobs at Deloitte?
Apply directly through Deloitte's careers portal, or find open Actuary positions with confirmed visa sponsorship history on Migrate Mate. Deloitte's actuarial roles are posted by specific practice areas, so filtering by function rather than searching broadly helps you reach the right team and recruiter from the start.
Which visa types does Deloitte commonly use for Actuary roles?
Deloitte sponsors H-1B, H-1B1, and E-3 visas for Actuaries, as well as employment-based Green Cards through EB-2 and EB-3 categories. H-1B1 is available to Chilean and Singaporean nationals, while E-3 is exclusive to Australian citizens. Each visa type has distinct filing requirements, eligibility rules, and processing timelines through USCIS or the State Department.
What qualifications does Deloitte expect for sponsored Actuary positions?
Deloitte's actuarial roles generally require a bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or a closely related field, along with demonstrated progress toward professional designation through the Society of Actuaries or Casualty Actuarial Society. Roles at the senior or manager level typically expect several passed exams and prior consulting or insurance industry experience.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for a Deloitte Actuary role?
For an E-3 or H-1B1, consular processing after DOL certifies the Labor Condition Application typically takes two to six weeks. H-1B petitions filed under standard USCIS processing take three to five months, though premium processing reduces that to roughly two to three weeks. Building at least eight to ten weeks of lead time into your offer negotiation helps avoid start date complications.
