Align your credentials to Deloitte's practice areas
Deloitte organizes Technology Consultants into practices like Cloud Engineering, SAP, Cyber, and Human Capital Technology. Framing your resume and credentials around a specific practice increases your chances of clearing initial screening and landing a structured sponsorship offer.
Target Deloitte's campus and experienced hire pipelines separately
Deloitte runs distinct hiring tracks for new graduates and experienced professionals. If you're on OPT, the campus recruiting cycle starts earlier and moves faster, so missing the fall recruiting window can push your start date past your OPT expiration.
Understand how Deloitte's staffing model affects your LCA
As a consulting firm, Deloitte places employees at client sites, which means your Labor Condition Application filed with DOL must reflect prevailing wages for each worksite location, not just the office where you're formally based. Client site changes can require LCA amendments.
Prepare for PERM early if you want a Green Card path
Deloitte supports EB-2 and EB-3 sponsorship, but PERM recruitment requires a defined role with specific minimum requirements. Technology Consultant positions with overly broad scopes can complicate PERM filings, so work with your internal immigration contact to narrow the job description before the process begins.

Find Technology Consultant at Deloitte JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Deloitte sponsor H-1B visas for Technology Consultants?
Yes, Deloitte sponsors H-1B visas for Technology Consultants and is one of the more active consulting firms in doing so. Sponsorship is typically initiated after an offer is accepted. Deloitte works with an internal immigration team to handle USCIS filings, but you'll need to be aware of H-1B cap registration in April if you're not already in H-1B status or exempt.
How do I apply for Technology Consultant jobs at Deloitte?
Applications go through Deloitte's careers portal, but roles are spread across business units and practice areas, which makes it easy to miss relevant openings. Migrate Mate aggregates Deloitte's Technology Consultant listings that include visa sponsorship, so you can browse and apply without manually filtering through hundreds of postings. Tailor your application to a specific practice area for the best response rate.
Which visa types does Deloitte commonly use for Technology Consultant roles?
Deloitte sponsors H-1B, H-1B1, and E-3 visas for Technology Consultants depending on your citizenship. Australian citizens can use the E-3, which has no lottery and shorter processing times. Chilean and Singaporean nationals may qualify for the H-1B1. For longer-term immigration, Deloitte also supports EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship for eligible employees in this role.
What qualifications does Deloitte expect for a Technology Consultant role?
Most Technology Consultant roles at Deloitte require a bachelor's degree in a technical or business field, with preference for computer science, information systems, or engineering. For H-1B purposes, the degree must directly relate to the role's specialty occupation requirements. Prior consulting experience, certifications in platforms like Salesforce, SAP, or AWS, and demonstrated client-facing experience meaningfully strengthen your application.
How do I time my application to account for visa processing at Deloitte?
If you need a new H-1B, the annual cap registration opens in March with an April 1 start date at the earliest. Deloitte typically needs several weeks to prepare the petition after an offer is accepted. Building in a six-month lead time between your offer and your intended start date is realistic, especially if premium processing is not elected and USCIS standard timelines apply.
