Align your degree to consulting specializations
Deloitte's Project Analyst roles fall under specific practice areas like Strategy, Technology, or Financial Advisory. Confirm your degree field maps directly to the practice you're targeting, since H-1B specialty occupation approval depends on that match.
Target practice groups with consistent sponsorship
Not every Deloitte practice sponsors at the same rate. Government and Public Services, Technology Consulting, and Audit-adjacent advisory roles have historically filed across multiple visa categories. Research which business unit your target role sits in before applying.
Ask specifically about E-3 if you hold Australian citizenship
Deloitte sponsors E-3 visas, which have no lottery and can be processed at a U.S. consulate in Australia. If you're an Australian national, flag this in your recruiter conversation so the offer letter is structured correctly from the start.
Prepare your credential documents before final rounds
Deloitte's immigration team will need your transcripts, degree certificates, and any prior visa approvals to support the H-1B or EB petition. Having a credentials evaluation from NACES-member organization ready shortens the post-offer filing timeline.
Use Migrate Mate to find open Project Analyst roles
Filtering for Project Analyst openings across large consulting firms takes time across multiple job boards. Use Migrate Mate to browse Deloitte's current openings filtered by visa sponsorship type, so you're only applying to roles where sponsorship is confirmed.

Find Project Analyst at Deloitte JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Deloitte sponsor H-1B visas for Project Analysts?
Yes, Deloitte sponsors H-1B visas for Project Analysts. The firm participates in the annual H-1B cap lottery each March, with an October 1 employment start date. If you're on F-1 OPT, you'll need a valid offer in hand before the registration period opens. Deloitte also sponsors H-1B1 and E-3 visas, which bypass the lottery entirely for qualifying nationals.
How do I apply for Project Analyst jobs at Deloitte?
Apply directly through Deloitte's careers portal, where roles are listed by service line and location. Project Analyst positions are typically posted for specific practice areas such as Technology, Strategy, or Risk Advisory. You can also browse open roles filtered by visa sponsorship category on Migrate Mate, which surfaces Deloitte listings alongside confirmed sponsorship details to save you research time.
Which visa types does Deloitte sponsor for Project Analyst roles?
Deloitte sponsors H-1B, H-1B1, E-3, and employment-based Green Card categories including EB-2 and EB-3 for Project Analysts. H-1B1 is available to Chilean and Singaporean nationals without a lottery. E-3 is available to Australian citizens and can be processed at a consulate outside the cap system. Green Card sponsorship typically follows after a period of full-time employment.
What qualifications does Deloitte expect for Project Analyst roles?
Most Project Analyst positions at Deloitte require a bachelor's degree in a field relevant to the practice area, such as business, finance, computer science, or engineering. For H-1B eligibility, the degree must directly relate to the job duties, so generalist degrees paired with unrelated roles can create petition risk. Consulting internship experience or demonstrated analytical skills through coursework are common differentiators at the offer stage.
How long does Deloitte's sponsorship process take for a Project Analyst offer?
Timeline depends on the visa category. H-1B petitions filed under regular processing take three to five months after the October 1 start date, though Deloitte can elect premium processing for a 15-business-day USCIS adjudication. E-3 consular processing in Australia typically takes two to four weeks. PERM-based Green Card sponsorship, when offered, runs 18 to 36 months or longer depending on your country of birth and priority date.
