The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. Align Your SAP Certifications Before Applying
Deloitte's SAP practice values module-specific certifications like SAP S/4HANA or SAP Activate. Having an active certification tied to a current SAP product line strengthens your specialty occupation case and signals readiness for client deployment from day one.
Target Deloitte's Federal and Commercial SAP Practices Separately
Deloitte splits its SAP work across federal government clients and commercial sectors. Federal SAP roles often involve security clearance requirements that complicate sponsorship, so prioritizing the commercial practice early improves your odds of a clean, straightforward filing.
Use Migrate Mate to Filter Open SAP Analyst Roles by Visa Type
Deloitte posts SAP Analyst openings across multiple service lines simultaneously. Migrate Mate lets you filter specifically for roles where Deloitte has an active sponsorship history, so you apply to positions where a petition is actually feasible rather than guessing.
Confirm LCA Filing Intent During Recruiter Screening
Ask your Deloitte recruiter directly whether the specific business unit handles its own Labor Condition Application filings or routes them through a centralized immigration team. Knowing this early tells you how long the pre-filing stage will realistically take before USCIS sees your petition.
Prepare a Portfolio of Billable SAP Project Deliverables
Deloitte interviewers for SAP roles often probe for specific project artifacts: process design documents, test scripts, or go-live support records. Having these ready in a format you can discuss supports both the interview and any specialty occupation documentation USCIS may later request.
Understand How Deloitte Handles Cap-Exempt and Cap-Subject Filings
If Deloitte seconds you to a qualifying institution like a university research center, your H-1B may qualify as cap-exempt under USCIS rules, bypassing the annual lottery entirely. Ask your immigration contact whether any of your assigned engagements would trigger that exemption.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Deloitte sponsor H-1B visas for SAP Analysts?
Yes, Deloitte sponsors H-1B visas for SAP Analysts and has done so consistently across its consulting and technology implementation practices. Sponsorship is typically handled through Deloitte's centralized immigration function, which coordinates LCA filings with the DOL and manages the USCIS petition process. Eligibility depends on the role's specialty occupation classification and your specific qualifications.
How do I apply for SAP Analyst jobs at Deloitte?
Applications go through Deloitte's careers portal, where SAP Analyst roles are listed by service line and location. You can also use Migrate Mate to browse Deloitte's open SAP Analyst positions filtered by visa sponsorship eligibility, which helps you focus on roles where sponsorship is a realistic outcome rather than sifting through listings with no sponsorship history.
Which visa types does Deloitte commonly use for SAP Analyst roles?
Deloitte sponsors H-1B, H-1B1 visa, and E-3 visas for SAP Analysts at the nonimmigrant level, along with EB-2 and EB-3 immigrant visa categories for candidates pursuing a Green Card. E-3 visa applies exclusively to Australian citizens, and H-1B1 is available to Chilean and Singaporean nationals. Each pathway requires the role to qualify as a specialty occupation under USCIS standards.
What qualifications does Deloitte expect for sponsored SAP Analyst roles?
Deloitte typically expects a bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, engineering, or a related field, along with hands-on experience in at least one SAP module such as SAP FI, MM, SD, or S/4HANA. Client-facing consulting roles often require prior project implementation experience. SAP certifications are not always mandatory but meaningfully strengthen both your candidacy and the specialty occupation documentation for your visa petition.
How do I understand the timeline from offer to starting on an H-1B at Deloitte?
After an offer is accepted, Deloitte's immigration team initiates the LCA with the DOL, which takes around seven business days under standard processing. The I-129 petition then goes to USCIS, where regular processing takes several months. Premium processing, which USCIS adjudicates within 15 business days, is available and commonly used in consulting when a start date is time-sensitive. Plan for at least three to four months total unless premium processing is elected.
