Frame Your Architecture Portfolio for Consulting Delivery
Deloitte's Product Architect roles are tied to client delivery, not internal product development. Emphasize cross-industry systems integration, platform modernization, or cloud migration projects where you owned the architecture end-to-end and drove measurable client outcomes.
Align Your Credentials to Specialty Occupation Standards
USCIS scrutinizes architecture roles for specialty occupation eligibility. A degree in computer science, information systems, or engineering paired with platform-specific certifications like AWS Solutions Architect or TOGAF strengthens your H-1B petition before Deloitte's legal team files.
Target Deloitte's Technology and Transformation Practice Areas
Product Architect openings at Deloitte cluster in cloud engineering, Salesforce, SAP, and government technology practices. Filtering your search by practice area rather than job title alone surfaces roles that are actively staffed and more likely to carry sponsorship budget.
Use Migrate Mate to Surface Deloitte Sponsorship Openings
Deloitte posts Product Architect roles across multiple practice portals, making it easy to miss active openings. Migrate Mate aggregates verified sponsorship-eligible positions so you can target Deloitte roles confirmed to support H-1B, E-3, or Green Card candidates directly.
Clarify Sponsorship Timing Before Accepting an Offer
Deloitte typically files H-1B transfers or cap-exempt petitions once an offer is signed, but timing depends on your current status. If you're within your 60-day grace period or on OPT, confirm the expected USCIS filing date with your recruiter before resigning from your current role.
Understand How PERM Affects Your Long-Term Path at Deloitte
Deloitte sponsors EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards for Product Architects, but PERM labor certification is employer-initiated and timeline-driven by DOL processing. Ask during the offer stage whether your role qualifies for PERM sponsorship and how long the firm typically takes to initiate the process.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Deloitte sponsor H-1B visas for Product Architects?
Yes, Deloitte sponsors H-1B visas for Product Architect roles, particularly within its technology consulting and digital transformation practices. Because Deloitte qualifies as a cap-exempt employer through affiliations with qualifying institutions, it can file H-1B petitions outside the annual lottery window, which gives candidates more scheduling flexibility than most private-sector employers.
How do I apply for Product Architect jobs at Deloitte?
Apply through Deloitte's careers portal and filter by technology or consulting practice area, since Product Architect roles sit across multiple service lines. Tailor your resume to highlight enterprise architecture delivery on client engagements. You can also browse Deloitte's sponsorship-eligible Product Architect openings directly on Migrate Mate, which surfaces roles confirmed to support international candidates.
Which visa types does Deloitte commonly sponsor for Product Architects?
Deloitte sponsors H-1B, H-1B1 visa, and E-3 visas for Product Architect roles at the nonimmigrant level, with EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship available for longer-tenured employees. Australian citizens can pursue the E-3 pathway, which has no lottery and allows two-year renewable status, making it a strong option for qualifying candidates already in the pipeline.
What qualifications does Deloitte expect for Product Architect roles?
Deloitte's Product Architect roles typically require a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, plus several years of hands-on architecture experience across enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, SAP, AWS, or Azure. Client-facing consulting experience is weighted heavily. Platform certifications like TOGAF, AWS Solutions Architect, or equivalent credentials strengthen both your candidacy and your visa petition's specialty occupation argument.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take once Deloitte makes an offer?
For H-1B transfers, USCIS standard processing runs three to six months, though Deloitte can use premium processing to get a decision within 15 business days. E-3 consular processing for Australian citizens typically runs two to four weeks from interview scheduling. PERM labor certification for Green Card sponsorship is a separate, multi-year process initiated at the employer's discretion after you've joined.
