Frame your portfolio around revenue outcomes
Deloitte's Partnerships Lead roles are evaluated on measurable business impact. Before applying, document specific partnerships you've built, revenue attributed to those relationships, and client retention outcomes. Consulting firms prioritize quantifiable proof over general relationship management experience.
Target offices with active alliances practices
Deloitte's partnerships function concentrates heavily in offices tied to its Alliance ecosystem, particularly roles aligned with technology partners like Salesforce, AWS, and Microsoft. Searching by practice area, not just job title, surfaces roles where visa sponsorship is most consistently offered.
Understand which visa fits your citizenship
Deloitte sponsors H-1B, H-1B1, and E-3 visas for Partnerships Leads, depending on your nationality. Australian citizens can use the E-3, which has no lottery. H-1B1 applies to Chilean and Singaporean nationals. Clarifying your eligibility early shapes how you discuss sponsorship timing with the recruiter.
Raise sponsorship after receiving the offer
Deloitte's recruiting process moves through structured stages. Bringing up visa sponsorship before an offer is extended can flag you as a higher-cost candidate. Once you have an offer in hand, the conversation shifts to logistics, and Deloitte's immigration team handles the filing process from there.
Use Migrate Mate to identify open roles efficiently
Partnerships Lead openings at Deloitte are distributed across practice lines and geographies, making them easy to miss. Use Migrate Mate to filter Deloitte roles by visa type and function so you're applying to positions where sponsorship is already confirmed, not guessing based on the job description.
Prepare for PERM if you're targeting permanent residence
Deloitte sponsors EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards for qualified employees, but PERM labor certification requires the company to conduct a formal recruitment process first. Understanding that timeline, often 12 to 24 months after joining, helps you set realistic expectations during offer negotiations.

Find Partnerships Lead at Deloitte JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Deloitte sponsor H-1B visas for Partnerships Leads?
Yes, Deloitte sponsors H-1B visas for Partnerships Lead roles. Because the H-1B requires a specialty occupation with a directly related degree, candidates typically need a bachelor's degree or higher in business, marketing, or a related field. If you're subject to the H-1B cap, timing your application around Deloitte's hiring cycle matters, since USCIS accepts cap-subject petitions starting April 1 for an October 1 start date.
How do I apply for Partnerships Lead jobs at Deloitte?
Applications go through Deloitte's careers portal, where roles are listed by service line and location. Partnerships Lead positions often sit within Deloitte's Alliance or Business Development functions, so searching by those terms alongside the job title returns more results. Migrate Mate also aggregates Deloitte's open roles filtered by visa sponsorship eligibility, which is useful if you need to confirm sponsorship availability before applying.
Which visa types does Deloitte typically use for Partnerships Lead roles?
Deloitte sponsors H-1B, H-1B1, and E-3 visas for Partnerships Leads depending on the candidate's nationality. Australian citizens qualify for the E-3, which bypasses the H-1B lottery entirely. H-1B1 is available to nationals of Chile and Singapore. For candidates pursuing permanent residence, Deloitte also supports EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship after a qualifying period of employment.
What qualifications does Deloitte expect for Partnerships Lead roles?
Deloitte typically looks for candidates with experience managing strategic alliances or channel partnerships, often within enterprise software, technology consulting, or professional services. A bachelor's degree in business or a related field is standard, and experience working with named technology partners such as Salesforce, ServiceNow, or AWS is frequently referenced in job postings. Prior consulting firm experience is valued but not always required.
How do I plan my timeline if I need visa sponsorship for a Deloitte Partnerships Lead role?
If you need an H-1B, build your job search around Deloitte's winter and early spring recruiting cycles so an offer can be secured before the April 1 USCIS filing window. E-3 and H-1B1 holders have more flexibility since those visas aren't lottery-dependent and can be filed year-round. For candidates already in the U.S. on OPT, confirm your OPT expiration date and the 60-day grace period before accepting an offer, since your start date affects petition timing.
