Align Your Credentials to Specialty Occupation Standards
Deloitte's HCM roles typically require a degree directly tied to the work, such as HR, organizational psychology, or information systems. Make sure your transcript and any credential evaluations clearly reflect that match before applying.
Target Deloitte's HCM Technology Sub-practices
Roles supporting Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or Oracle HCM implementations generate consistent sponsorship demand within Deloitte's Human Capital practice. Searching by these platform specializations surfaces openings where Deloitte actively recruits internationally credentialed candidates.
Search Deloitte HCM Roles on Migrate Mate
Migrate Mate filters open positions by visa type and employer sponsorship history, so you can find Deloitte's Human Capital Management openings where international hiring is actively expected, not just technically possible.
Understand How H-1B Cap Timing Affects Your Start Date
USCIS H-1B cap filings open in March for an October 1 start. If you receive a Deloitte offer outside a cap-exempt window, your start date may be nearly a year out. Factor this into salary and onboarding conversations early.
Clarify Sponsorship Scope During Offer Negotiations
Deloitte's talent acquisition team can confirm whether a specific HCM role is approved for Green Card sponsorship, not just initial H-1B filing. Getting that commitment in writing before signing protects your long-term immigration plan.
Prepare for a PERM-Driven Green Card Timeline
For EB-2 or EB-3 sponsorship, Deloitte must complete a DOL PERM labor market test before filing your immigrant petition. This process typically takes one to two years, so start that conversation as soon as you clear your probationary period.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Deloitte sponsor H-1B visas for Human Capital Managements?
Yes, Deloitte sponsors H-1B visas for Human Capital Management roles, and it is one of the more active consulting firms doing so for this function. Sponsorship is most consistent for HCM technology implementation roles tied to platforms like Workday or SAP SuccessFactors, where the specialty occupation case is straightforward to support with DOL and USCIS.
How do I apply for Human Capital Management jobs at Deloitte?
You can apply directly through Deloitte's careers site or use Migrate Mate to browse Deloitte's open Human Capital Management positions filtered by visa sponsorship eligibility. When applying, tailor your resume to the specific HCM sub-practice, whether that is HR transformation, change management, or HCM technology, since Deloitte recruits differently across those tracks.
Which visa types does Deloitte commonly use for Human Capital Management roles?
Deloitte sponsors H-1B, H-1B1 visa, and E-3 visas for Human Capital Management professionals at the nonimmigrant level, making it accessible to candidates from Australia, Singapore, Chile, and other treaty countries beyond India and China. For longer-term permanent residence, Deloitte also pursues EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship through the PERM process for qualifying employees.
What qualifications does Deloitte expect for Human Capital Management roles?
Deloitte's HCM practice generally expects a bachelor's degree in human resources, organizational behavior, information systems, or a closely related field, with consulting experience or hands-on implementation work on enterprise HCM platforms. For H-1B sponsorship purposes, your degree must align directly with the job duties, so a generalist business degree without HR coursework can create complications during USCIS review.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take at Deloitte for HCM hires?
For H-1B cap-subject hires, expect a March registration window and an October 1 start date, meaning your offer could precede your first day by six months or more. Deloitte typically files with USCIS after lottery selection in April, and premium processing can reduce adjudication to around 15 business days if timeline certainty matters for project staffing.
