Align your credentials to consulting delivery standards
Deloitte's Professional Services Engineer roles blend technical implementation with client-facing delivery. Before applying, frame your resume around project outcomes, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration, not just technical stack, since consulting firms evaluate both dimensions during screening.
Target Deloitte's technology and systems integration practices
Professional Services Engineer openings at Deloitte cluster heavily within their technology consulting and systems integration practices. Filtering by practice area, not just job title, surfaces roles where engineering talent is actively recruited and where visa sponsorship has historically been most consistent.
Use Migrate Mate to filter open roles by visa type
Deloitte sponsors across H-1B, E-3, and Green Card pathways, but not every role or office location handles all categories equally. Use Migrate Mate to filter Professional Services Engineer listings by the specific visa type you need before investing time in applications.
Clarify sponsorship scope before your final interview round
Deloitte's recruiting process moves quickly once you clear the case interview stage. Confirm with your recruiter whether your specific office location and practice area handle H-1B transfers or only new cap-subject petitions, since this affects your start date planning under USCIS timelines.
Understand how PERM labor certification fits your timeline
If you're targeting a Green Card through EB-2 or EB-3, Deloitte's PERM filings require DOL-supervised recruitment before your petition advances. Factor in that PERM processing at DOL can run 12 to 18 months before your I-140 stage even begins.
Prepare for E-3 processing as an Australian applicant
Australian engineers pursuing E-3 sponsorship at Deloitte go through consular processing rather than USCIS filing, which means your offer letter and certified Labor Condition Application from DOL need to be in hand before you schedule your visa appointment.

Find Professional Services Engineer at Deloitte JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Deloitte sponsor H-1B visas for Professional Services Engineers?
Yes, Deloitte sponsors H-1B visas for Professional Services Engineer roles. They participate in the annual H-1B cap lottery for new applicants and also process cap-exempt transfers for candidates already holding H-1B status with another employer. Sponsorship availability can vary by practice area and office location, so confirming with your recruiter early in the process is important.
How do I apply for Professional Services Engineer jobs at Deloitte?
Applications go through Deloitte's careers portal, where you can search by job title, location, and practice area. Professional Services Engineer roles are often listed under technology consulting or systems integration practices. Migrate Mate also aggregates Deloitte's open roles and lets you filter specifically by visa sponsorship type, which saves time if you need to identify roles compatible with your immigration status before applying.
Which visa types does Deloitte sponsor for Professional Services Engineer roles?
Deloitte sponsors H-1B and H-1B1 visas for most Professional Services Engineer positions, along with the E-3 visa for Australian citizens. For candidates pursuing permanent residence, Deloitte also supports EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways through PERM labor certification. The visa types available to you depend on your nationality, your current status, and the specific role and office location.
What qualifications does Deloitte expect for Professional Services Engineer roles?
Deloitte typically looks for a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field, along with demonstrated experience in systems implementation, technical delivery, or platform integration. Consulting firms also weigh client-facing communication skills heavily. Candidates with certifications in major cloud platforms or enterprise software ecosystems are frequently prioritized for these roles, particularly within technology and systems integration practices.
How do I plan my timeline if Deloitte is sponsoring my H-1B?
The H-1B cap lottery opens in March each year, with an October 1 start date for selected petitions. If you're not already in H-1B status, you'll need your offer finalized and your employer registered for the lottery by late February. For cap-exempt transfers, USCIS standard processing runs three to five months, with premium processing available to reduce that window to 15 business days.
