Align your credentials to Deloitte's specialty occupation standard
Deloitte's H-1B petitions for Transportation Managers are filed under specialty occupation requirements, so your degree must directly map to transportation planning, supply chain, or operations management. A general business degree without supporting coursework can create RFE exposure at USCIS.
Target Deloitte's government and public sector practice
Transportation Manager openings at Deloitte cluster heavily in practices serving federal and state transportation agencies. Positioning your experience around infrastructure programs, DOT engagements, or public transit systems puts you in front of the teams that hire most actively for this role.
Search open Transportation Manager roles using Migrate Mate
Deloitte posts Transportation Manager openings across multiple practice areas, which makes it easy to miss relevant listings. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for sponsorship-eligible roles at Deloitte so you're only spending time on positions that match your visa situation.
Confirm your visa type fits Deloitte's filing infrastructure
Deloitte sponsors H-1B, H-1B1, E-3, and employer-sponsored Green Cards. If you're an Australian citizen pursuing an E-3, confirm with the recruiter early that the role is structured as direct employment, since consulting project staffing arrangements can affect how the LCA is filed with DOL.
Negotiate your start date around USCIS filing windows
If you need a cap-subject H-1B, your employment at Deloitte can't start before October 1 of the relevant fiscal year. Build this into your offer negotiation so your proposed start date is realistic and the team isn't left waiting on a role it needs filled immediately.
Prepare for multi-round interviews focused on client delivery
Deloitte's Transportation Manager interview process typically includes case scenarios tied to real client engagements, not just functional logistics knowledge. Prepare documented examples of managing cross-functional teams, vendor contracts, or transportation network transformations for a named client or project.

Find Transportation Manager at Deloitte JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Deloitte sponsor H-1B visas for Transportation Managers?
Yes, Deloitte sponsors H-1B visas for Transportation Manager roles. The firm has a dedicated global mobility and immigration function that manages filings across its consulting practices. For cap-subject H-1B candidates, sponsorship is tied to the annual lottery, with a registration window in March and an earliest start date of October 1. Deloitte also sponsors H-1B1 and E-3 visas for eligible candidates.
How do I apply for Transportation Manager jobs at Deloitte?
Applications go through Deloitte's careers portal at deloitte.com, where Transportation Manager roles are posted by practice area and location. You can also find sponsorship-eligible openings through Migrate Mate, which filters for roles where visa sponsorship is available. Tailoring your application to the specific practice, such as Government and Public Services or Supply Chain, improves your chances of reaching the interview stage.
Which visa types does Deloitte typically use for Transportation Manager roles?
Deloitte files H-1B petitions most commonly for Transportation Manager positions, covering candidates from most nationalities. Australian citizens are eligible for the E-3 visa, which bypasses the H-1B lottery entirely. Chilean and Singapore nationals may qualify for the H-1B1. For longer-term pathways, Deloitte also sponsors EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card petitions through the PERM labor certification process for this role level.
What qualifications does Deloitte expect for Transportation Manager roles?
Deloitte typically expects a bachelor's degree or higher in transportation planning, civil engineering, supply chain management, logistics, or a closely related field. Practical experience managing transportation programs, infrastructure projects, or client-facing consulting engagements is weighed heavily. Familiarity with federal or state transportation agency operations is a strong differentiator, particularly for roles within the Government and Public Services practice.
How do I understand the sponsorship timeline for a Transportation Manager role at Deloitte?
Timeline depends on your visa type. E-3 and H-1B1 candidates can often start within weeks of receiving a certified Labor Condition Application from DOL and an approved visa stamp. Cap-subject H-1B candidates face a longer runway, with the lottery in spring and an October 1 start date. For Green Card sponsorship, PERM labor certification through DOL typically precedes the I-140 petition, adding a year or more to the overall process.
