Align your credentials to client-facing technical roles
Westwood's Professional Services Engineers work at the intersection of consulting and technical delivery. Frame your resume around client implementation projects, stakeholder management, and domain-specific problem-solving rather than purely internal engineering work.
Verify Westwood's E-Verify enrollment before applying
F-1 OPT candidates must confirm the employer is E-Verify enrolled before OPT authorization is valid. Westwood sponsors F-1 OPT and CPT, so confirm enrollment through the official E-Verify employer search before submitting your application materials.
Search Westwood Professional Services roles on Migrate Mate
Migrate Mate's job board filters specifically for visa-sponsoring employers in consulting. Use it to surface open Professional Services Engineer positions at Westwood and track sponsorship activity for this role type in one place.
Time your H-1B application around Westwood's hiring cycle
H-1B cap-subject petitions must be filed by April 1 for an October 1 start. If you're targeting Westwood through the annual lottery, secure an offer and complete the LCA process with DOL well before the March registration window opens.
Understand how TN status applies to your background
Canadian and Mexican nationals with engineering or management consulting credentials may qualify for TN status at Westwood without lottery exposure. The role must fall under a qualifying TN occupation category, so confirm the job description maps to an eligible classification before negotiating your offer.
Prepare your PERM documentation for EB-2 or EB-3 sponsorship
Westwood sponsors EB-2 and EB-3 green cards for this function. PERM labor certification through DOL requires proving no qualified U.S. worker is available, so organize transcripts, employment records, and degree evaluations early to avoid delays once the process begins.
