Verify your EAD matches Fox's roles
Your OPT EAD must authorize work in a field directly related to your degree. Fox hires across PT, OT, and SLP disciplines, so confirm your authorized occupation aligns with the specific therapy role before applying. Mismatches can void your work authorization.
Target clinical roles over administrative openings
Fox's OPT hiring concentrates in direct patient care positions like physical therapist, occupational therapist, and speech-language pathologist. Administrative or non-clinical roles are less likely to satisfy the practical training requirement that ties your OPT to your degree field.
Confirm Fox's E-Verify enrollment before accepting
STEM OPT's 24-month extension requires your employer to be enrolled in E-Verify. Before signing an offer, ask Fox's HR team to confirm active enrollment. Without it, you're limited to the standard 12-month OPT period regardless of your degree classification.
Use Migrate Mate to find Fox's H-1B history
Knowing Fox's H-1B filing track record tells you how seriously they invest in keeping international employees long-term. Search Fox Rehabilitation on Migrate Mate to review their sponsorship history by role type before deciding whether to prioritize them in your job search.
Submit your training plan before your start date
For STEM OPT, you and your supervisor at Fox must complete a formal training plan before your extension is approved. Draft it in advance using USCIS guidelines, specifying learning objectives and supervision structure. Late or vague plans are a common reason STEM OPT extensions get delayed.
Ask about H-1B transition timelines during the offer stage
Fox's H-1B filings indicate they support visa transitions for qualifying employees. Ask HR directly during the offer stage whether they sponsor H-1B and what internal approval process applies. Understanding their timeline helps you plan around the annual H-1B registration window each March.
Fox Rehabilitation Physical, Occupational And Speech Therapy Services OPT Eligibility: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Fox Rehabilitation Physical, Occupational And Speech Therapy Services sponsor OPT visas?
Fox Rehabilitation doesn't sponsor OPT directly because OPT is work authorization USCIS grants to F-1 students, not something employers petition for. What Fox does is hire students who already hold a valid OPT EAD. Their H-1B filing history suggests they're open to hiring and retaining international employees in therapy roles.
Which roles at Fox Rehabilitation typically support OPT students?
Fox's hiring is concentrated in licensed therapy disciplines: physical therapist, occupational therapist, and speech-language pathologist. These roles align directly with degree fields commonly held by OPT students. Non-clinical or administrative positions are less likely to satisfy the practical training relationship required to maintain valid OPT status.
How do I confirm Fox Rehabilitation supports the STEM OPT extension?
Ask Fox's HR team whether the company is actively enrolled in E-Verify before you accept an offer. E-Verify enrollment is a federal requirement for any employer supporting a STEM OPT extension. If Fox isn't enrolled, you won't be eligible for the additional 24 months of authorization, even with a qualifying STEM degree.
What is the timeline for transitioning from OPT to H-1B at Fox Rehabilitation?
H-1B registration opens each March for an October 1 start date, so planning at least six months ahead is necessary. If Fox agrees to sponsor your H-1B, they'll need to file an LCA with DOL and submit a petition to USCIS before the deadline. Use Migrate Mate to track Fox's past H-1B filing patterns and set realistic expectations.
How do I approach Fox Rehabilitation about OPT employment as a therapy student?
Apply directly to clinical openings that match your authorized field of study and be upfront about your OPT status in your cover letter or initial screening. Fox hires across PT, OT, and SLP disciplines, so targeting roles that align with your degree avoids eligibility complications. Bring your EAD and I-20 to any offer discussion.
How does Fox Rehabilitation Physical, Occupational And Speech Therapy Services hire OPT students?
OPT is work authorization granted directly to F-1 students after graduation — no employer petition is required. Fox Rehabilitation Physical, Occupational And Speech Therapy Services can hire OPT students as soon as their EAD card is approved. STEM degree holders can extend OPT by 24 months when their employer is enrolled in E-Verify. Most companies that hire OPT students also support the transition to H-1B when the student's OPT period is ending. Check Fox Rehabilitation Physical, Occupational And Speech Therapy Services's individual postings on Migrate Mate to confirm OPT acceptance per role.
