Align your degree to specific roles
Integris hires for technology and software positions, so your application carries more weight when your degree field directly maps to the role. Employers in this sector often screen by SOC code alignment, so confirm your degree classification matches the job before applying.
Confirm your STEM OPT eligibility early
If your degree is in a STEM-designated field, you may qualify for a 24-month extension beyond standard OPT. USCIS requires your employer to be enrolled in E-Verify for that extension, so ask Integris about their E-Verify status before accepting an offer.
Target teams with active H-1B filing history
Integris has sponsored H-1B visas, which signals which teams handle long-term international hires. Prioritize applying to engineering, software development, or technical consulting roles where that transition pathway from OPT to H-1B is already established within the company.
Use Migrate Mate to verify Integris sponsorship data
Before your interview, pull Integris's LCA filing history through Migrate Mate to see which job titles and office locations have active sponsorship records. This lets you ask targeted questions and position yourself for roles with a documented track record of supporting international employees.
Request your EAD start date strategically
Your OPT EAD start date is set when your DSO submits the request in SEVIS, and you can't move it earlier once submitted. Time your application so the start date aligns with Integris's onboarding cycle, since most technology employers have fixed quarterly or monthly start windows.
Prepare a wage benchmark before salary negotiations
Technology roles at staffing and consulting firms like Integris have published prevailing wages by location. Run the relevant SOC code through the OFLC Wage Search before your offer stage so you can negotiate from a grounded baseline rather than accepting the first figure presented.
Integris OPT Eligibility: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Integris sponsor OPT visas?
Integris hires F-1 students who already hold an OPT EAD issued by USCIS. The company does not file a petition for OPT itself, since OPT authorization belongs to the student, not the employer. What matters for you is whether Integris is enrolled in E-Verify, which is required if you plan to use the STEM OPT extension.
Which roles at Integris are most accessible for OPT students?
Integris operates in technology and software, so OPT students with backgrounds in software engineering, data analytics, IT consulting, or related technical disciplines are best positioned. Roles that map to STEM-designated degree programs are especially valuable because they open the door to the 24-month STEM OPT extension after your initial period.
How do I approach the OPT-to-H-1B transition at Integris?
Integris has a history of H-1B sponsorship, which means the infrastructure for that transition exists internally. Raise the topic of long-term sponsorship during the offer stage, not after you start. Use Migrate Mate to review Integris's past H-1B LCA filings by role and location so you enter that conversation with specific context about where sponsorship has happened before.
What is the typical timeline for getting hired at Integris on OPT?
Technology and software employers often run hiring cycles that take four to eight weeks from application to offer. Since your OPT EAD start date must be set before USCIS issues the card, align your DSO's SEVIS submission timeline with Integris's onboarding calendar. USCIS recommends applying at least three months before your program end date to avoid gaps.
How do I confirm Integris is enrolled in E-Verify before accepting an offer?
E-Verify enrollment is publicly searchable through the E-Verify employer search tool maintained by the Department of Homeland Security. Look up Integris by company name before your final interview round. If they're not enrolled, you can still work through standard OPT, but the 24-month STEM OPT extension will not be available to you at that employer.
How does Integris hire OPT students?
OPT is work authorization granted directly to F-1 students after graduation — no employer petition is required. Integris can hire OPT students as soon as their EAD card is approved. STEM degree holders can extend OPT by 24 months when their employer is enrolled in E-Verify. Most companies that hire OPT students also support the transition to H-1B when the student's OPT period is ending. Check Integris's individual postings on Migrate Mate to confirm OPT acceptance per role.
