Job Roles at Lactalis American Group
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Lactalis American Group Green Card Visa Sponsorship Jobs USA
Target roles in manufacturing and quality
Lactalis American Group's Green Card sponsorship tends to concentrate in technical and operational roles, think food scientists, quality assurance managers, and plant engineers. These functions align with the specialized skills the company needs to sustain its U.S. dairy operations.
Understand the PERM labor certification process
Green Card sponsorship at large Food & Beverage employers like Lactalis typically begins with PERM, where the company must demonstrate no qualified U.S. workers are available. Expect this stage alone to take a year or more before USCIS even sees your petition.
Build tenure before requesting sponsorship
Lactalis American Group is more likely to invest in Green Card sponsorship for employees who've demonstrated value over time. Joining on an H-1B or TN visa and proving your contribution before initiating the Green Card conversation significantly improves your chances.
Ask about sponsorship policy during the offer stage
Not every role at Lactalis American Group qualifies for Green Card sponsorship. Raise the question directly with HR or your recruiter before accepting an offer, confirm whether the specific position has been sponsored before and what the company's standard process looks like.
Find verified Lactalis American Group openings on Migrate Mate
Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, helping you identify which Lactalis American Group roles are realistically tied to Green Card programs rather than guessing from a generic careers page.
Align your credentials with EB-2 or EB-3 requirements
Depending on your role and education level, Lactalis may file under EB-2 or EB-3. Food & Beverage roles requiring advanced degrees or exceptional expertise typically fall under EB-2, while skilled production and technical roles often qualify under EB-3.

Does Lactalis American Group sponsor Green Card visas?
Yes, Lactalis American Group sponsors Green Card visas for eligible employees. The company has an established immigration program supporting long-term work authorization for skilled professionals across its U.S. operations. Sponsorship is most common in technical, engineering, quality, and corporate functions where specialized expertise is difficult to source domestically.
Which roles and departments at Lactalis American Group typically receive Green Card sponsorship?
Green Card sponsorship at Lactalis American Group is most frequently tied to roles in food science, quality assurance, manufacturing engineering, supply chain, and corporate functions such as finance and IT. These positions require specialized knowledge that supports the company's large-scale U.S. dairy manufacturing operations and are the most likely candidates for employer-sponsored immigration.
How does the Green Card application process work at Lactalis American Group?
For most roles, the process begins with PERM labor certification, where Lactalis must demonstrate it cannot fill the position with a qualified U.S. worker. Once PERM is approved, the company files an I-140 immigrant petition on your behalf. If your priority date is current, you can then file for adjustment of status or proceed through consular processing to receive your Green Card.
How long does it take to get a Green Card through Lactalis American Group?
The timeline depends heavily on your visa category and country of birth. PERM labor certification alone can take one to two years. After that, EB-2 and EB-3 petitions for applicants born in India or China face significant backlogs due to annual per-country visa limits. Applicants from most other countries generally move faster once the I-140 is approved.
How do I improve my chances of getting Green Card sponsorship at Lactalis American Group?
Start by targeting roles in departments with a history of sponsorship, such as quality, engineering, and food science. Confirm sponsorship availability before accepting an offer, and plan to establish your value within the company before initiating the conversation. Migrate Mate can help you identify current Lactalis American Group openings tied to verified sponsorship programs, so you're applying to the right roles from the start.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card sponsorship at Lactalis American Group?
Employers sponsoring a Green Card through the PERM labor certification process must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role. The Department of Labor determines this rate based on the specific job title, location, and experience level. The prevailing wage is locked in during the PERM filing and applies through the entire Green Card process. You can look up current rates using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
