Target food science and R&D roles first
Kerry's sponsorship activity is concentrated in technical disciplines like food science, flavor technology, and process engineering. If your background aligns with taste and nutrition innovation, you're applying in the area where Kerry's sponsorship track record is strongest.
Understand which visa Kerry sponsors
Kerry sponsors H-1B, E-3, TN, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and Green Card pathways. Knowing which category fits your situation before applying lets you ask informed questions and signals to recruiters that you've done your homework.
Australian nationals should highlight E-3 eligibility
Kerry sponsors the E-3 visa, which is exclusively available to Australian citizens. Mentioning your E-3 eligibility upfront removes a common employer concern about lottery risk and can make your application significantly more straightforward for their HR team to process.
Engage Kerry's university recruitment pipeline early
Kerry participates in campus recruitment and sponsors F-1 CPT and OPT, meaning they're accustomed to working with international students. Connecting with Kerry at university career events or internship programs can be a strong entry point into their sponsorship pipeline.
Filter for verified sponsors before you apply
Not every job listing accurately reflects a company's willingness to sponsor. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, helping you focus your effort on Kerry roles that are genuinely open to international candidates.
Align your application to Kerry's global mobility culture
Kerry operates across dozens of countries and routinely moves talent internationally. Framing your international background as an asset, rather than a logistical challenge, resonates with a company that sees cross-border experience as central to its business model.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Kerry sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Kerry sponsors H-1B visas. The company has an active sponsorship track record and files H-1B petitions for qualifying roles, particularly in technical and specialized fields like food science, engineering, and research. If you're targeting Kerry for H-1B sponsorship, focus your application on roles where a specific degree in a relevant field is a clear requirement, as these are most likely to meet specialty occupation standards.
Which visa types does Kerry sponsor?
Kerry sponsors a broad range of visa categories including H-1B, E-3 visa, TN visa, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, EB-2, and EB-3. This range indicates a company experienced with international hiring across multiple pathways, from student work authorization through to permanent residence. Australian and Canadian nationals in particular have strong options given the E-3 visa and TN visa categories in Kerry's sponsorship portfolio.
What types of roles at Kerry are most likely to include visa sponsorship?
Kerry's sponsorship activity is heaviest in roles that require specialized technical expertise, particularly in food science, flavor development, nutrition research, process engineering, and regulatory affairs. Corporate functions like finance and supply chain may also see sponsorship for senior or highly specialized positions. Roles requiring a specific bachelor's or advanced degree in a defined field are the strongest candidates for H-1B and Green Card sponsorship.
How do I find open roles at Kerry that offer visa sponsorship?
The most reliable approach is to search for Kerry on Migrate Mate, which surfaces roles from verified sponsors and lets you filter by visa type and sponsorship history. This saves you from applying to listings that don't actually support international candidates. Once you identify a relevant role, confirm sponsorship directly with Kerry's recruiter early in the process, before advancing through multiple interview rounds.
How do I approach the application timeline if I need Kerry to sponsor my visa?
Timing depends on which visa you need. H-1B petitions are subject to an annual lottery with a filing window in the spring, so an offer would ideally be in place well before April. E-3 and TN visas move faster and aren't lottery-dependent. For F-1 OPT extensions or Green Card sponsorship, timelines are longer and require early coordination with Kerry's HR and legal teams. Raise the sponsorship question early, not after an offer.
