Job Roles at Korn Ferry
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Korn Ferry H-1B Visa Sponsorship Jobs USA
Target consulting and advisory roles
Korn Ferry's H-1B sponsorship concentrates in consulting, organizational strategy, and executive search functions. Focusing your applications on these areas gives you a stronger chance of finding roles where the firm has a history of sponsoring international candidates.
Demonstrate deep industry specialization
As a human resources and leadership advisory firm, Korn Ferry values niche expertise. Candidates with specialized backgrounds in talent management, organizational design, or executive assessment are better positioned to justify H-1B sponsorship compared to generalist applicants.
Raise sponsorship early in the process
Don't wait until an offer is on the table to mention your H-1B requirement. Bringing it up during initial recruiter conversations sets accurate expectations and avoids wasting time with teams that don't have sponsorship budget or approval for a given role.
Use verified sponsorship data when applying
Not every Korn Ferry role will be eligible for H-1B sponsorship. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, helping you prioritize applications at firms with a confirmed track record of supporting international hires.
Understand Korn Ferry's approval chain
H-1B sponsorship at large HR firms typically requires sign-off beyond the hiring manager, often involving HR leadership and legal. Knowing this helps you frame your value clearly at each stage and prepares you for a longer decision timeline than a standard hire.
Align your application to client-facing impact
Korn Ferry sponsors roles where candidates bring measurable value to client engagements. When applying, emphasize outcomes you've delivered for organizations rather than internal responsibilities. This framing resonates with the firm's business model and strengthens the sponsorship case internally.

Does Korn Ferry sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Korn Ferry does sponsor H-1B visas, though its sponsorship is selective and tied to specific roles rather than applied broadly across all open positions. Candidates with specialized expertise in consulting, executive search, or organizational advisory work are most likely to find H-1B-eligible opportunities at the firm.
Which roles and departments at Korn Ferry typically receive H-1B sponsorship?
H-1B sponsorship at Korn Ferry is most common in consulting, leadership advisory, organizational strategy, and executive search. These roles require a specific educational and professional background that aligns with the H-1B specialty occupation standard. Corporate support functions may occasionally sponsor as well, but professional services roles are the primary focus.
How do I navigate the H-1B application process at Korn Ferry?
Once Korn Ferry extends an offer and confirms sponsorship, their legal team or an outside immigration counsel files the Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor, followed by the I-129 petition with USCIS. Your role is to provide supporting documentation such as degree certificates, transcripts, and employment history. The recruiter typically coordinates timelines with legal.
How long does H-1B sponsorship take at Korn Ferry?
From offer acceptance to an approved H-1B, the timeline generally runs several months under standard processing. Korn Ferry's legal team submits the petition during the annual H-1B cap filing window, with employment starting no earlier than October 1 if you're subject to the cap. Premium processing can shorten USCIS review to a matter of weeks if the firm elects to use it.
How do I find H-1B jobs at Korn Ferry as an international candidate?
Start by identifying roles that match your specialization, then confirm sponsorship eligibility before investing heavily in the application. Migrate Mate helps international candidates filter job listings by verified H-1B sponsorship history, so you can focus on Korn Ferry openings where sponsorship has been confirmed rather than relying on job descriptions alone, which often omit visa details entirely.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B jobs at Korn Ferry?
H-1B employers must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is determined when they file the Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor. The rate is based on the role, location, and experience level, and ensures international hires are paid comparably to U.S. workers in the same position. You can look up prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
