Job Roles at Slalom
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Slalom H-1B Visa Sponsorship Jobs USA
Target technology and data roles first
Slalom's H-1B sponsorship is concentrated in specialty occupation roles like software engineering, data analytics, and cloud architecture. These positions align most clearly with H-1B specialty occupation requirements, making sponsorship approval more straightforward for qualified candidates.
Understand how consulting firms hire differently
Slalom staffs consultants to client projects, so hiring windows can open quickly. Monitor job postings consistently and apply early, consulting firms often close roles faster than product companies once a client engagement is confirmed and headcount is approved.
Confirm sponsorship availability before applying
Not every open role at Slalom will come with H-1B sponsorship. Use Migrate Mate to filter verified sponsoring employers and identify which Slalom postings are tied to confirmed sponsorship history, saving time before you invest in a full application.
Align your degree to the specific role
H-1B specialty occupation approval depends on a clear match between your degree field and the job. At Slalom, emphasize how your academic background directly supports the technical or strategic consulting work described in the job posting.
Be transparent about your visa timeline early
Consulting firms operate on tight project staffing timelines. Raise your H-1B status and cap-subject timing during early recruiter conversations so Slalom's immigration team can plan around fiscal year filing deadlines and avoid last-minute surprises.
Prepare for a competency-based interview process
Slalom's interviews emphasize client-facing skills and problem-solving alongside technical ability. Demonstrating that you can deliver value to consulting clients strengthens your candidacy and makes the sponsorship investment easier for the firm to justify internally.

Get Access To All JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Slalom sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Slalom sponsors H-1B visas. As a consulting and professional services firm, Slalom has an established immigration program and regularly files H-1B petitions for qualifying roles. Sponsorship is most common in technology, data, and specialized strategy positions that meet the H-1B specialty occupation standard.
Which roles and departments at Slalom typically receive H-1B sponsorship?
H-1B sponsorship at Slalom is most common in technical consulting roles including software development, data engineering, cloud solutions, and cybersecurity. Strategy and management consulting positions with a strong analytical or specialized degree requirement may also qualify. Roles that are more generalist in nature are less likely to meet H-1B specialty occupation criteria.
How do I navigate the H-1B application process at Slalom?
Once Slalom extends an offer to a sponsored candidate, the company works with an immigration law firm to prepare and file the H-1B petition. You'll provide documentation including your degree credentials, employment offer letter, and biographical information. Slalom's HR and legal teams manage the petition process, but you should stay responsive to document requests to avoid delays.
How do I find H-1B jobs at Slalom that confirm visa sponsorship?
Slalom posts roles across its own careers page, but individual job listings don't always specify visa sponsorship. Migrate Mate surfaces verified H-1B sponsors and lets you filter job opportunities by confirmed sponsorship history, which makes it easier to identify Slalom openings tied to real immigration support before applying.
What timeline should I expect for H-1B sponsorship at Slalom?
H-1B petitions are filed in April for an October 1 start date, following the annual lottery in March. If you're selected, Slalom's immigration team will manage filing with USCIS over the following months. Premium processing is available to expedite the adjudication decision to roughly 15 business days, though Slalom's policy on who receives premium processing varies by role and circumstance.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B jobs at Slalom?
H-1B employers must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is determined when they file the Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor. The rate is based on the role, location, and experience level, and ensures international hires are paid comparably to U.S. workers in the same position. You can look up prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
