INTRODUCTION
Heartflow is a medical technology company advancing the diagnosis and management of coronary artery disease, the #1 cause of death worldwide, using cutting-edge technology. The flagship product—an AI-driven, non-invasive cardiac test supported by the ACC/AHA Chest Pain Guidelines called the Heartflow FFRCT Analysis—provides a color-coded, 3D model of a patient’s coronary arteries indicating the impact blockages have on blood flow to the heart. Heartflow is the first AI-driven non-invasive integrated heart care solution across the CCTA pathway that helps clinicians identify stenoses in the coronary arteries (RoadMap™Analysis), assess coronary blood flow (FFRCT Analysis), and characterize and quantify coronary atherosclerosis (Plaque Analysis). Heartflow is a publicly traded company (HTFL) that has received international recognition for exceptional strides in healthcare innovation, is supported by medical societies around the world, cleared for use in the US, UK, Europe, Japan and Canada, and has been used for more than 500,000 patients worldwide.

Align your credentials to specialty occupation standards
Heartflow's Regional Director roles typically require clinical or biomedical sales expertise. Document your degree field and any medical device industry certifications clearly, since USCIS evaluates H-1B eligibility against the specific theoretical and practical requirements of the role.
Target territories with active field openings
Heartflow expands its regional sales force as new hospital systems adopt its FFR-CT technology. Prioritize applications to territories where cardiology partnerships are newer, since those markets carry the strongest business case for urgent hiring and faster sponsorship decisions.
Clarify sponsorship intent before the final interview
Raise your visa status early in the process, not after a verbal offer. Heartflow's HR and legal teams handle medical device LCA filings through DOL, and confirming timeline alignment before an offer prevents delays tied to prevailing wage determinations.
Build a case around clinical relationships and revenue history
Heartflow sells a capital-intensive diagnostic platform into cardiology departments. Quantify your prior experience managing hospital stakeholder relationships and territory revenue cycles, since those credentials directly address the specialty occupation justification in an H-1B petition.
Use Migrate Mate to surface open Regional Director roles
Regional Director openings at Heartflow are distributed across geographic territories and can be hard to track manually. Use Migrate Mate to filter verified sponsorship-eligible positions at Heartflow by role type, so you're applying to openings where sponsorship is confirmed.
Understand the PERM timeline if you're targeting permanent residency
EB-2 and EB-3 PERM filings require DOL to certify that no qualified U.S. workers are available. For Regional Director roles, this process can take a year or more, so start that conversation with your hiring manager well before your nonimmigrant status requires extension.

Find Regional Director at Heartflow JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Heartflow sponsor H-1B visas for Regional Directors?
Yes, Heartflow has sponsored H-1B visas for Regional Director roles. The position typically qualifies as a specialty occupation given the clinical and technical knowledge required to sell AI-based cardiac diagnostics into hospital systems. Your employer files the petition with USCIS after the DOL certifies the Labor Condition Application, so timeline planning with your hiring team matters.
Which visa types does Heartflow commonly use for Regional Director roles?
Heartflow sponsors H-1B visas for nonimmigrant work authorization and supports EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways for long-term employment. F-1 OPT and CPT holders in qualifying STEM fields may also be eligible for Regional Director roles, particularly those with medical device or clinical sales backgrounds. TN status is available for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying occupational categories.
What qualifications does Heartflow expect for Regional Director candidates?
Heartflow typically looks for candidates with a degree in a biomedical, clinical, or business-related field combined with direct medical device or cardiovascular sales experience. Because the role involves promoting an FDA-cleared AI diagnostic tool to cardiologists and hospital administrators, familiarity with clinical workflows and capital equipment sales cycles is a practical requirement, not just preferred.
How do I apply for Regional Director jobs at Heartflow?
You can search and apply for Regional Director positions at Heartflow through Migrate Mate, which aggregates sponsorship-eligible openings and lets you filter by company and role type. Applications typically involve an initial recruiter screen, followed by clinical sales competency interviews and territory-specific business case discussions. Having your degree, employment authorization documents, and territory experience clearly outlined before you apply speeds up the process.
How do I plan my timeline if I need H-1B sponsorship for a Regional Director role at Heartflow?
H-1B cap-subject petitions are filed once per year in April for an October 1 start date, so your offer timing relative to that window matters significantly. If you're on F-1 OPT, the 60-day grace period limits post-employment flexibility, making early outreach to Heartflow's HR team critical. Cap-exempt scenarios exist for some roles, so confirm your specific situation with Heartflow's immigration counsel after receiving an offer.
