Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
Role Overview
KLA is seeking a Senior Director of Program Management – FleetHub to lead strategy, execution, and portfolio governance for Fleet Solutions, with primary ownership of FleetHub, KLA’s centralized fleet data aggregation, analytics, and monitoring platform.
FleetHub is a shared, enterprise-scale platform that aggregates operational, system, and event data from KLA tools deployed across customer fabs worldwide. It enables consistent monitoring of tool availability, productivity, configuration, and health across fleets, supporting both customer value creation and internal operational excellence.
This role operates at the intersection of metrology hardware, software platforms, data analytics, and customer operations. The Senior Director will provide executive-level leadership across multi-product, multi-division programs, ensuring FleetHub evolves as a scalable, reliable, and strategically differentiated platform used across KLA’s metrology portfolio and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
FleetHub Platform & Portfolio Strategy
- Own the end-to-end portfolio strategy for Fleet Solutions, with direct accountability for the FleetHub platform roadmap, execution, and long-term scalability.
- Translate Metrology and corporate strategy into multi-year platform and capability roadmaps for fleet-level data aggregation, analytics, and monitoring.
- Drive investment prioritization and trade-off decisions across FleetHub capabilities, balancing customer value, internal operational needs, and platform sustainability.
- Ensure FleetHub operates as a shared infrastructure platform, enabling multiple tools, applications, and product divisions rather than a single product line.
Program Management at Enterprise Scale
- Provide executive oversight for multiple complex, cross-functional programs spanning software platform development, tool integration, deployment, and sustainment.
- Lead programs across the full lifecycle—from concept and architecture definition through development, global deployment, and long-term operations.
- Establish and maintain program governance, operating cadence, and performance metrics appropriate for a mission-critical, always-on platform.
- Identify and mitigate portfolio-level risks, including cross-division dependencies, data integrity, reliability, security, and scalability concerns.
Fleet Data, Analytics & Operational Enablement
- Oversee programs enabling FleetHub to aggregate and analyze:
- Operational data (job execution, inspection tasks, calibration activities)
- Exception and error events (wafer handling errors, resets, fault conditions)
- System-level data (equipment states, control and communication status)
- Ensure robust delivery of FleetHub-hosted capabilities, including:
- Operational and hardware analytics used by Customer Support Engineers (CSEs) and internal teams
- Partner with engineering and service organizations to convert fleet insights into actionable improvements in tool performance, reliability, and customer outcomes.
Cross-Functional & Organizational Leadership
- Align FleetHub priorities with the needs of multiple product divisions, resolving conflicts and driving consensus at the executive level.
- Influence architectural decisions related to data models, interfaces, platform extensibility, and tool onboarding.
- Represent Fleet Solutions and FleetHub in executive reviews, business planning cycles, and strategic operating forums.
Customer & Market Engagement
- Engage directly with key customers and internal stakeholders to understand fleet-level needs, operational pain points, and roadmap expectations.
- Support executive-level customer discussions related to fleet analytics, uptime, productivity, and digital enablement.
- Ensure customer requirements are translated into clear platform priorities and execution plans without compromising platform integrity.
Organizational & Talent Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and scale a senior program management organization supporting FleetHub and Fleet Solutions.
- Build a strong bench of leaders capable of operating across software platforms, hardware integration, and customer-facing operations.
- Drive a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement within program management and across partner teams.
Travel
- Willingness to travel internationally as required (typically up to ~15–20%).
Preferred Qualifications
Technical & Domain Expertise
- Extensive experience delivering complex, multi-disciplinary systems, including software platforms, data pipelines, analytics, and hardware integration.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor capital equipment, fab operations, and service environments with deep technical knowledge of metrology hardware and software solutions.
- Experience leading shared platforms or infrastructure used across multiple products or business units.
Leadership & Program Experience
- Proven success leading large, matrixed organizations and influencing outcomes across multiple divisions.
- Track record of owning portfolio-level program execution with significant business, customer, and operational impact.
- Comfort operating at the executive level, including presenting to senior leadership and driving alignment across competing priorities.
Communication & Influence
- Exceptional ability to synthesize technical and operational complexity into clear executive-level narratives.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with credibility across engineering, service, and business audiences.
- Ability to lead through influence in environments with shared ownership and indirect authority.
Minimum Qualifications
- Doctorate (Academic) Degree with 12+ years of relevant experience, or
- Master’s Degree with 15+ years of relevant experience, or
- Bachelor’s Degree with 18+ years of relevant experience

Tailor Your Resume to Technical Support Contexts
KLA's Customer Service roles sit inside a semiconductor manufacturing environment, so frame your experience around technical coordination, escalation management, or equipment order workflows rather than retail or general service backgrounds.
Secure Your OPT STEM Extension Early
F-1 candidates in engineering, supply chain, or related STEM fields may qualify for a 24-month OPT extension. Confirm your degree classification with your DSO before applying, since KLA hiring timelines can extend several months.
Research KLA's DOL Labor Condition Applications
KLA files LCAs with the DOL for H-1B hires, which are publicly searchable. Reviewing past filings for Customer Service job titles tells you which office locations actively sponsor and what prevailing wage levels to anchor salary conversations around.
Browse Verified Sponsorship Roles on Migrate Mate
Search KLA's open Customer Service positions on Migrate Mate, which filters for employers with confirmed sponsorship activity so you avoid applying to roles where international candidates are screened out before the first interview.
Prepare for H-1B Filing Logistics Before Your Offer
KLA hires for the April 1 H-1B cap filing window, so offers made in late January or February move quickly. Have your credential evaluations, degree transcripts, and employment verification letters ready before you reach the offer stage.
Address TN Visa Eligibility If You Hold Canadian or Mexican Citizenship
TN status covers certain business and technical roles and does not require USCIS lottery selection. Confirm with KLA's HR team early whether your specific Customer Service job title maps to a qualifying TN occupation category under USMCA.

Find Customer Service at KLA JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does KLA sponsor H-1B visas for Customer Service?
Yes, KLA sponsors H-1B visas for qualifying Customer Service roles, particularly positions that involve technical coordination, account management, or support functions tied to semiconductor manufacturing operations. Sponsorship is subject to the annual H-1B cap and lottery, so timing your application and offer acceptance around the April 1 filing window is critical. Roles classified as specialty occupations under USCIS guidelines are eligible.
How do I apply for Customer Service jobs at KLA?
Applications go through KLA's careers portal, where Customer Service roles are listed by location and business unit. For international candidates, Migrate Mate surfaces KLA's open Customer Service positions in a filtered view that confirms sponsorship activity, which saves time compared to manually screening individual job listings. Preparing a resume that reflects technical or manufacturing-adjacent service experience improves your chances of clearing initial screening.
Which visa types does KLA commonly use for Customer Service roles?
KLA sponsors H-1B for most skilled Customer Service hires and supports Green Card pathways through EB-2 and EB-3 classifications for longer-term employees. F-1 OPT and CPT candidates are accepted for eligible roles, and TN status is an option for Canadian and Mexican citizens whose job titles qualify under USMCA. J-1 is less common but has been used for program-based placements.
What qualifications does KLA typically expect for Customer Service roles?
KLA's Customer Service positions generally require a bachelor's degree in a technical, business, or engineering-adjacent field, along with experience in B2B environments, order management, or technical support. Familiarity with semiconductor, capital equipment, or precision manufacturing industries is a distinct advantage. Roles vary from entry-level coordination to senior account support, with the H-1B specialty occupation standard shaping minimum qualification expectations for sponsored hires.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for a KLA Customer Service offer?
For H-1B sponsorship, the timeline runs from offer acceptance through USCIS petition filing on April 1, with an anticipated start date no earlier than October 1 of the same year. That means a gap of six months or more between offer and start is common. F-1 OPT candidates can begin sooner if authorization is already in place. USCIS premium processing, which KLA may use, can reduce petition adjudication to around 15 business days.
