Does LATICRETE International sponsor H-1B visas for Corporate Legal Counsels?
Yes, LATICRETE International sponsors H-1B visas for Corporate Legal Counsel roles. In-house legal positions qualify as specialty occupations under USCIS standards because they require at minimum a bachelor's degree in law and active bar admission. LATICRETE has sponsored H-1B petitions for legal professionals, and their in-house counsel function operates across U.S. and international operations, making the role a credible sponsorship target.
How do I apply for Corporate Legal Counsel jobs at LATICRETE International?
Applications go through LATICRETE's careers portal, where legal roles are listed by location and business unit. You can also find Corporate Legal Counsel openings at LATICRETE filtered by visa sponsorship eligibility on Migrate Mate, which lets you identify active roles before applying directly. Tailor your resume to highlight commercial contracts, compliance, or distribution industry experience relevant to LATICRETE's operations.
Which visa types does LATICRETE International commonly use for Corporate Legal Counsel roles?
LATICRETE sponsors H-1B visas as the primary work authorization path for Corporate Legal Counsel positions. They also support F-1 OPT and CPT for candidates still within their post-graduation authorization window, and TN visas for Canadian and Mexican nationals who qualify under USMCA professional categories. For long-term employees, LATICRETE has pursued EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship through the DOL PERM process.
What qualifications does LATICRETE International expect for Corporate Legal Counsel candidates?
LATICRETE typically looks for a Juris Doctor from an accredited U.S. law school and active admission to a U.S. state bar. Experience in commercial contracts, supply chain or distribution agreements, or manufacturing regulatory compliance strengthens your candidacy. Candidates with prior in-house experience in building materials, construction products, or wholesale distribution are particularly well positioned for how LATICRETE structures its legal team.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for a Corporate Legal Counsel role at LATICRETE?
For H-1B sponsorship, your employer files with USCIS after October 1 following the April lottery, meaning standard processing runs four to six months after selection. Premium processing can reduce USCIS adjudication to 15 business days. If LATICRETE pursues Green Card sponsorship, the DOL PERM labor certification alone typically takes six to twelve months, followed by the USCIS I-140 petition before you can file for adjustment of status.
