How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Milliman Visa Sponsorship USA
Target actuarial and data-focused roles first
Milliman's core business is actuarial consulting and risk analysis, so candidates with actuarial credentials, statistical expertise, or data science backgrounds are most likely to be considered for sponsorship. Align your application to these high-priority practice areas.
Highlight credentials that support Green Card sponsorship
Milliman has a track record of sponsoring permanent residency through EB-2 and EB-3. Candidates with advanced degrees, actuarial exam progress, or specialized consulting experience are better positioned to be considered for long-term sponsorship.
Apply before H-1B cap season closes
If you need H-1B sponsorship, timing matters. Milliman's hiring cycle for roles requiring cap-subject H-1B petitions should ideally begin well before the April lottery. Start conversations with recruiters in January or February to stay ahead of deadlines.
Filter for verified sponsors before applying
Not every job posting makes sponsorship eligibility clear. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, saving time and helping you focus your applications on companies like Milliman with documented sponsorship activity.

Does Milliman sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Milliman sponsors H-1B visas for qualified candidates in actuarial, data analytics, and consulting roles. The firm has a consistent pattern of H-1B sponsorship across its U.S. offices. If you're on F-1 OPT or another status, Milliman's track record makes it a realistic target for H-1B sponsorship once you have an offer in hand.
What visa types does Milliman sponsor?
Milliman sponsors a range of visa types including H-1B, TN, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and J-1 for temporary work authorization. For permanent residency, the firm also supports EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card petitions. This breadth makes Milliman a strong option for international candidates at various stages of their immigration journey.
Which roles at Milliman are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Sponsorship at Milliman tends to concentrate in technical and analytical roles, particularly actuarial consultants, data scientists, healthcare analysts, and risk modelers. These positions align closely with the specialized skill requirements that support visa eligibility under H-1B and EB-category Green Cards. Candidates with actuarial exam credentials or advanced quantitative degrees are especially well positioned.
How do I find open roles at Milliman that offer visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate lists roles from companies with verified sponsorship histories, including Milliman, so you can search with confidence rather than guessing from job postings. Filter by visa type to find positions that match your current status, whether you need H-1B, OPT, or TN sponsorship. This saves time and focuses your efforts on employers with real sponsorship activity.
How do I approach the application process at Milliman as an international candidate?
Be upfront about your visa status early in the process. Milliman's recruiters are familiar with sponsorship requirements given the firm's track record, so transparency helps rather than hurts. If you're on OPT, emphasize your STEM extension eligibility where relevant. For H-1B candidates, timing your application to allow several months before the April lottery is strongly advisable.
