Document your construction credentials for U.S. standards
Translate your licenses, trade certifications, and project portfolios into formats U.S. hiring managers recognize. Educational facility construction often requires familiarity with ADA compliance and building codes, so highlight any relevant regulatory experience in your application materials.
Target NOVEL PREP's facilities and campus operations teams
Construction roles at an education company typically sit under facilities management or capital projects, not a traditional construction division. Search for job titles like Facilities Project Manager or Construction Coordinator when scanning NOVEL PREP's open positions.
Clarify your OPT timeline before your first interview
If you're on F-1 OPT, confirm exactly how many months remain before your authorization expires. NOVEL PREP sponsors both CPT and OPT, but construction project timelines can extend beyond a standard 12-month OPT window, so address this proactively with the hiring team.
Ask about H-1B filing timing during the offer stage
USCIS H-1B cap registration opens in March each year, with employment starting October 1 at the earliest. If you receive an offer outside that window, confirm whether NOVEL PREP will file under cap-exempt status or hold the offer through the next registration cycle.
Use Migrate Mate to find NOVEL PREP's active construction openings
Construction roles at education companies fill quickly and aren't always posted on general job boards. Use Migrate Mate to filter NOVEL PREP's current openings by role type and visa sponsorship, so you're applying to positions where sponsorship is already confirmed.
Verify your work authorization is compatible with TN status
Canadian and Mexican nationals in construction management or engineering disciplines may qualify for TN visas, which NOVEL PREP sponsors. Cross-reference your specific job title against the DOL's TN occupational categories before assuming eligibility, as not all construction roles qualify.

Does NOVEL PREP sponsor H-1B visas for Construction roles?
Yes, NOVEL PREP sponsors H-1B visas and has an active sponsorship track record for Construction positions. Because H-1B construction roles must qualify as specialty occupations under USCIS standards, your application is strongest when the position requires at least a bachelor's degree in a field like construction management, civil engineering, or architecture. Generic trade roles without a degree requirement are harder to support.
How do I apply for Construction jobs at NOVEL PREP?
Browse NOVEL PREP's current Construction openings through Migrate Mate, which filters for roles where visa sponsorship is confirmed. When you apply, tailor your resume to the educational facilities context, emphasizing project types like school renovations, ADA upgrades, or institutional builds. If you're on OPT or CPT, note your authorization type and end date clearly in your application or cover letter.
Which visa types does NOVEL PREP commonly use for Construction positions?
NOVEL PREP sponsors H-1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and TN visas for Construction roles. OPT and CPT are typically used for recent graduates in construction management or related engineering programs. TN is available to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying professional categories. H-1B applies to longer-term hires in roles that meet the specialty occupation threshold under USCIS guidelines.
What qualifications does NOVEL PREP expect for Construction roles?
NOVEL PREP's Construction positions in an educational setting typically require experience with institutional or commercial construction, familiarity with local building codes, and knowledge of safety compliance standards. For H-1B sponsorship specifically, the role generally needs to require a bachelor's degree or higher in construction management, engineering, or architecture. Practical experience with school or campus projects is a notable differentiator.
How do I plan my timeline if I need visa sponsorship for a Construction role at NOVEL PREP?
If you're targeting H-1B sponsorship, USCIS cap registration runs in March with an October 1 start date, so factor in a six-plus month lead time from offer to first day. For OPT or CPT, align your application timing with your authorization end date and confirm NOVEL PREP can complete onboarding within your valid period. TN visas can often be processed at the port of entry, making them faster for eligible candidates.
