Description:
- Assume responsibility for the delivery of safe, effective, and quality patient care in the perioperative setting for all patient populations.
- Assess and monitor patients, coordinating care through the various stages of surgical care.
- Assist with surgical equipment and supplies.
- Assist with positioning and preparing the patient for surgery.
- Documentation of nursing care accurately and complete.
- Collaborate effectively with other disciplines and departments as applicable.
Requirements
- A current RN licensure with the State Board of Nursing in Illinois.
- CPR and ACLS certified.
- First Assist-RN, Circulator, and/or Preop/PACU Experience preferred.
- Ortho and General Surgery Experience preferred.
- Experience with EMR Surgical applications; preference for CERNER.
