We’ve earned recognition from TechCrunch, CNBC, Bloomberg, Forbes, Business Insider, PYMNTS, American Banker, LendIt, and have been named to the Forbes Fintech 50 list every year since 2023. Last but not least, we’ve even made history - we were the first company to go live with the eCBSV and testified before the United States House of Representatives on the future of identity. SentiLink supports a variety of ways to work, ranging from fully remote to in-office. We operate as a digital-first company with strong collaboration across the U.S. and India. We maintain physical offices in Austin, San Francisco, New York City, Seattle, Los Angeles, and Chicago in the U.S., and in Gurugram (Delhi) and Bengaluru in India. If you’re located near one of these offices, we would love for you to spend time in the office regularly. Some roles are hybrid or in-office by design. For example, our engineering team in India works primarily from our Gurugram office.
ROLE
We’re looking for a Product Manager with a technical background to lead internal initiatives within SentiLink’s Tech organization. This team builds and maintains SentiLink’s core internal technology, spanning critical datasets, internal services, and the underlying platforms that support our products and analytics. Many of these systems are data-heavy and highly interdependent, requiring strong product stewardship to ensure clarity, quality, and coordinated execution. While the portfolio will include a range of internal technical projects, many of the most impactful initiatives are deeply data-driven. You will work on efforts that improve how we acquire, structure, and operationalize data across the company—building internal assets that support both current product lines and future innovation. You will bring product discipline and project leadership to work that spans engineering, data science, solutions analytics, and product teams. In this role, you will partner with teams across the company to understand how internal systems and datasets are used today and what they must support as we scale. You will translate varied internal needs into clear product requirements, prioritize improvements, and drive delivery from concept through adoption.
Responsibilities
- Own the product vision, roadmap, and execution for internal technical initiatives, with a strong focus on data‐intensive systems and foundational datasets.
- Lead cross-functional efforts to improve the quality, reliability, and usability of internal systems, including datasets, shared services, and internal platforms.
- Drive long-term initiatives to future-proof internal data and technology assets, ensuring they scale with evolving product, analytics, and operational needs.
- Partner with engineering, data science, solutions analytics, and product stakeholders to understand use cases, clarify requirements, and identify interdependencies.
- Manage prioritization across competing internal demands, balancing immediate impact with long-term strategic value.
- Translate complex internal needs into clear, actionable specifications and ensure alignment across teams.
- Apply structured project management to initiatives with multiple teams, ambiguous problem spaces, and intricate technical dependencies.
- Define and track success metrics for internal systems and datasets, such as quality, completeness, latency, reliability, and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Communicate roadmap, progress, risks, and tradeoffs to internal stakeholders at all levels.
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of experience with data-heavy or platform-oriented products, with a focus on ML/Data Science strongly preferred.
- Hands-on experience working with large datasets, ideally in distributed or big-data environments (e.g., Spark, Databricks, BigQuery, Snowflake, similar).
- Strong understanding of big data concepts, data pipelines, data cleaning/normalization, and data modeling.
- Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with engineering, data science, and analytics teams on deeply technical problem spaces.
- Experience driving large internal initiatives with multiple stakeholders and managing substantial cross-functional dependencies.
- Proven ability to structure ambiguous requirements, prioritize effectively, and deliver predictable execution on complex technical programs.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences and facilitate alignment across teams.
- A forward-looking, durability-focused mindset—ensuring internal systems and datasets are built for scale, maintainability, and long-term adaptability.

Align your credentials to specialty occupation standards
For EB-2 or EB-3 sponsorship, your degree and hands-on experience need to map clearly to the Mechanical Technician role. Document any certifications, technical coursework, or field experience specific to hardware systems or embedded technology environments.
Research SentiLink's hiring pattern before applying
SentiLink's Mechanical Technician openings tend to reflect operational scaling in a software-first company. Tailor your application to show you can work in a tech-centric environment, not just a traditional manufacturing or industrial setting.
Use Migrate Mate to surface active openings efficiently
Migrate Mate filters SentiLink's Mechanical Technician listings by visa sponsorship type, so you can confirm which roles align with your status, whether F-1 OPT, TN, or employment-based Green Card pathways, before investing time in outreach.
Start OPT paperwork well before your graduation date
USCIS recommends filing your OPT application up to 90 days before your program end date. Delays in EAD card issuance are common, so a late application can create a gap that costs you the offer window at SentiLink.
Clarify PERM timing expectations with your hiring contact
EB-2 and EB-3 sponsorship requires a PERM labor certification before USCIS petition filing, which adds months to the process. Ask the recruiter early whether SentiLink initiates PERM concurrently with onboarding or only after a probationary period.
Confirm TN eligibility before accepting a Mechanical Technician offer
TN status is available to Canadian and Mexican nationals, but the role must fit a qualifying USMCA occupation category. Mechanical Technician titles can sometimes fall outside defined TN classifications, so verify the job description maps to an accepted category before your offer stage.

Does SentiLink sponsor H-1B visas for Mechanical Technicians?
SentiLink's primary sponsorship pathways for Mechanical Technician roles are EB-2, EB-3, F-1 OPT, and TN rather than H-1B. H-1B sponsorship for this role type is not consistently documented in their filing history. If H-1B is your only viable pathway, confirm directly with SentiLink's recruiting team before progressing through interviews, since the role's classification as a specialty occupation affects eligibility.
How do I apply for Mechanical Technician jobs at SentiLink?
Applications go through SentiLink's careers page, where Mechanical Technician openings are listed with role-specific requirements. Before applying, review whether the posting explicitly notes visa sponsorship availability, as this can vary by position. Migrate Mate also aggregates SentiLink's Mechanical Technician listings filtered by sponsorship type, which lets you confirm visa alignment before reaching out to the team.
Which visa types are commonly used for Mechanical Technician roles at SentiLink?
SentiLink has sponsored Mechanical Technician hires through F-1 OPT, TN, and employment-based Green Card categories including EB-2 and EB-3. F-1 OPT is typically the entry point for recent graduates, while TN applies specifically to Canadian and Mexican nationals. EB-2 and EB-3 are the longer-term pathways that require a PERM labor certification and USCIS petition filing before a Green Card is issued.
What qualifications does SentiLink expect for Mechanical Technician candidates?
SentiLink operates in the technology and software sector, so Mechanical Technician candidates are typically expected to bring a combination of formal technical training and hands-on experience with hardware systems in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with troubleshooting, equipment maintenance, and working alongside software or product teams distinguishes competitive applicants. Certifications in relevant technical disciplines strengthen your profile, particularly when supporting an EB-2 or EB-3 sponsorship case.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for a Mechanical Technician at SentiLink?
Timelines depend on which visa category applies to your situation. F-1 OPT authorization from USCIS can take 3 to 5 months from application to EAD card issuance. TN status for Canadians can be obtained at the border on the same day, while Mexicans apply at a consulate. EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship involves PERM certification through DOL plus USCIS petition review, which typically spans one to several years depending on your country of birth and priority date.
