Target clinical roles, not administrative ones
SPEAR Physical Therapy's sponsorship activity is concentrated in licensed clinical positions. Focus your application on physical therapist and rehabilitation roles, where the company has a clear history of supporting work visa candidates through the full hiring process.
Confirm your license eligibility before applying
Physical therapy roles in New York require state licensure or eligibility. International applicants should confirm their credentials qualify for New York State PT licensure before approaching SPEAR, as sponsorship typically proceeds only once licensure is confirmed or in progress.
Apply ahead of H-1B cap season
SPEAR has a track record as an active H-1B sponsor. If you're cap-subject, time your application so an offer can be secured before the March H-1B registration window, giving the company enough lead time to file on your behalf.
Highlight hands-on clinical experience in your resume
SPEAR operates busy outpatient clinics across New York. Applicants who demonstrate direct patient care experience in outpatient or sports rehabilitation settings are better positioned to move forward, as these match the core clinical model the company hires for.
Use Migrate Mate to verify open sponsored roles
Not every SPEAR job posting will explicitly mention visa sponsorship. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and confirm SPEAR has active openings before investing time in a full application.

Find SPEAR Physical Therapy JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does SPEAR Physical Therapy sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, SPEAR Physical Therapy sponsors H-1B visas and is one of the more active H-1B sponsors in the outpatient physical therapy space. Sponsorship is concentrated in licensed clinical roles, particularly physical therapists working across their New York clinic network. If you hold a qualifying DPT degree and meet licensure requirements, SPEAR is a credible H-1B sponsoring employer to target.
Which visa types does SPEAR Physical Therapy sponsor?
SPEAR Physical Therapy sponsors H-1B visas and has also supported candidates on F-1 OPT and F-1 CPT. TN visa sponsorship is available for Canadian and Mexican nationals who qualify under the physical therapist TN category. The company does not have a notable Green Card sponsorship history, so candidates planning for permanent residence should factor that into their long-term planning.
Which roles at SPEAR Physical Therapy are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Sponsorship at SPEAR Physical Therapy is concentrated in licensed clinical positions, primarily staff physical therapists. These roles meet the specialty occupation standard required for H-1B classification and align with the company's core outpatient rehabilitation model. Administrative, front-desk, or non-clinical support roles are unlikely to qualify for visa sponsorship.
How do I find open visa-sponsored jobs at SPEAR Physical Therapy?
Migrate Mate is the most reliable way to find current visa-sponsored openings at SPEAR Physical Therapy. Because not every job posting explicitly states that sponsorship is available, using a platform that filters by verified sponsorship history saves time and ensures you're applying to roles where sponsorship is genuinely on the table. Search for SPEAR by name to see active listings.
How do I approach the application timeline if I need H-1B sponsorship at SPEAR Physical Therapy?
H-1B cap-subject candidates should aim to have an offer in place before early March, when USCIS opens the annual H-1B registration window. SPEAR would need time to work with an immigration attorney and prepare the registration. If you're currently on F-1 OPT, you may be able to start before the cap date and transition to H-1B status on October 1 of the cap year.
