Align Your Credentials to Clinical Standards
Physics roles in radiology and medical imaging require board certification or eligibility through ABMP or ABR. Confirm your credentials map to U.S. clinical standards before applying, since Spectrum's hiring teams evaluate licensure fit early in the screening process.
Research Spectrum's Radiology Footprint First
Spectrum Healthcare Partners operates across multiple states as a physician-owned radiology group. Identifying which facilities have active Physics openings helps you target your application to locations where sponsorship decisions are made at the practice level, not a corporate HR department.
Ask Directly About Sponsorship Timing on First Contact
Physics roles often move quickly in healthcare. When you make initial contact, ask whether the position can accommodate H-1B or TN sponsorship timelines, especially if you're on OPT. Waiting until the offer stage to surface this can cost you the role.
Use OPT or CPT to Build Relevant Clinical Exposure
If you're on F-1 status, pursuing a clinical rotation or practicum in medical physics through CPT before graduating strengthens your application significantly. Spectrum values candidates who've already worked in a clinical imaging environment, not just academic or research settings.
Find Open Physics Roles Using Migrate Mate
Filtering for Physics openings at sponsoring healthcare employers takes time without the right tool. Use Migrate Mate to surface active Physics roles at Spectrum Healthcare Partners and similar employers filtered by visa type, so you're applying where sponsorship is already on the table.

Find Physics at Spectrum Healthcare Partners JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Spectrum Healthcare Partners sponsor H-1B visas for Physicists?
Yes, Spectrum Healthcare Partners has sponsored H-1B visas for Physics roles. As a physician-owned radiology group operating across multiple states, they work with international candidates when the role and candidate are the right fit. Your best approach is to confirm sponsorship availability directly with the hiring contact during your first conversation, not after an offer is made.
How do I apply for Physics jobs at Spectrum Healthcare Partners?
You can find open Physics positions at Spectrum Healthcare Partners through Migrate Mate, which filters active roles by employer and visa sponsorship type. When applying, tailor your application to highlight clinical medical physics experience, board certification status, and any relevant modality specialization. Spectrum's hiring process for Physics roles typically involves a clinical skills review and credentialing verification before an offer is extended.
Which visa types does Spectrum Healthcare Partners commonly use for Physics roles?
Spectrum Healthcare Partners has sponsored H-1B visas for Physics positions and has also supported F-1 OPT and CPT candidates. TN visas are an option for Canadian and Mexican nationals whose Physics specialty falls under the eligible USMCA occupation categories. The right visa pathway depends on your citizenship, current status, and where you are in the hiring timeline.
What qualifications does Spectrum Healthcare Partners expect for Physics positions?
Physics roles at Spectrum typically require a graduate degree in medical physics, health physics, or a closely related field, along with clinical board certification or active eligibility through ABMP or ABR. Hands-on experience in a clinical radiology or imaging environment is weighted heavily. Candidates without U.S. clinical exposure may face additional credentialing review before an offer proceeds.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for a Physics role at Spectrum Healthcare Partners?
Timeline depends on the visa type. For H-1B, the employer files a Labor Condition Application with DOL before submitting the I-129 petition to USCIS. Standard processing takes several months, though premium processing is available for faster adjudication. TN and OPT extensions can move faster. Build at least 60 to 90 days of lead time into any offer negotiation to avoid gaps in work authorization.
