Frame Your HR Experience Around Tech Workforces
Synopsys prioritizes HR professionals who've supported engineering or software organizations. Tailor your resume to highlight experience with technical recruiting, global mobility, or HRBP work in product-driven companies rather than generalist HR functions.
Clarify Your OPT or CPT Authorization Upfront
F-1 students often hesitate to raise work authorization early. Synopsys uses E-Verify, so your employment eligibility is confirmed on day one. Disclosing your OPT status in your application avoids delays and signals you understand the compliance process.
Target HR Business Partner and Talent Roles Specifically
Synopsys's open HR positions tend to cluster around HRBP and talent acquisition functions tied to R&D groups. Filtering your search to these roles increases your chances of landing a position that naturally supports H-1B specialty occupation classification.
Use Migrate Mate to Surface Synopsys HR Openings
HR roles at tech companies aren't always listed with visa sponsorship details upfront. Search Migrate Mate to filter Synopsys Human Resources positions by visa type so you're applying to roles where sponsorship is already confirmed, not guessing after an offer.
Negotiate Offer Timing Around the H-1B Cap Calendar
USCIS opens H-1B registration in March, with the new fiscal year starting October 1. If you receive an offer outside that window, work with Synopsys's immigration team to structure your start date so the petition can be filed in the next available cap season.

Find Human Resources at Synopsys JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Synopsys sponsor H-1B visas for Human Resources?
Yes, Synopsys sponsors H-1B visas for Human Resources roles. HR positions like HR Business Partner and talent acquisition specialist can qualify as specialty occupations under USCIS guidelines when they require a bachelor's degree in a specific field such as human resources management, organizational psychology, or business administration. Your offer letter and job description need to clearly reflect that degree requirement.
How do I apply for Human Resources jobs at Synopsys?
Apply directly through Synopsys's careers portal, where HR roles are posted by function and location. To find only positions that include visa sponsorship, use Migrate Mate to filter Synopsys Human Resources openings by visa type before applying. When submitting your application, include specific examples of supporting technical or engineering teams, since that experience is most relevant to Synopsys's HR function.
Which visa types does Synopsys commonly use for Human Resources roles?
Synopsys sponsors H-1B visas for longer-term HR employment and supports F-1 OPT and CPT for students entering HR roles during or immediately after their studies. For employees pursuing permanent residence, Synopsys has a track record of filing EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card petitions, which involve DOL's PERM labor certification process before the USCIS petition stage. TN visas are also available for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying HR positions.
What qualifications does Synopsys expect for sponsored Human Resources positions?
Synopsys typically looks for HR professionals with a bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field, along with experience supporting technical or engineering teams. For HRBP roles, familiarity with performance management cycles, workforce planning, and employee relations in a matrixed technology organization is valued. Candidates pursuing H-1B sponsorship should ensure their degree field aligns directly with the job description, since USCIS scrutinizes specialty occupation eligibility carefully.
How do I plan my timeline if I need Synopsys to sponsor my H-1B?
USCIS accepts H-1B cap-subject petitions for the October 1 start date, with the registration lottery typically opening in March. If Synopsys extends you an offer outside that window, your start date will likely be deferred to the following October 1. Build at least six to eight months of lead time into your job search, and confirm with Synopsys's HR team early that they're prepared to file within the cap season.
