Coding Auditor Position Summary

Coding Auditor Position Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's Degree with a focus in Health Information Management is preferred
Required License and/or Certification
- CCS Certification through American Health Information Management Association is required.
Experience
- Five (5) years inpatient coding and/or inpatient auditing experience is required.
- Three (3) years of outpatient coding and/or outpatient auditing is required.
- Experience with the EPIC Electronic Health Record and the 3m 360 Computer Assisted Coding program required.
Coding Auditor Work Schedule
- Day Shift, Monday through Friday.
- Evening and weekend work as needed.
- Expected to be available in emergency situations.
