Align your credentials to USMCA professions
TN admission is only available for roles explicitly listed in the USMCA professions annex. Before applying to Arnot Health, confirm your occupation matches a qualifying category like Registered Nurse, Medical Laboratory Technologist, or Physical Therapist. Use O*NET to verify the standard job description aligns with your actual duties.
Target departments with recurring clinical openings
Arnot Health's acute care, ICU, and rehabilitation units tend to post the most consistent openings for TN-eligible professionals. Prioritizing these departments over administrative or support roles puts you in front of hiring managers already familiar with international clinical candidates and USMCA documentation requirements.
Request a detailed offer letter covering TN requirements
Your offer letter from Arnot Health must specify your professional title, a description of duties confirming the specialty occupation, your credentials, and the employment period. Canadian nationals present this at the border; Mexican nationals need it for their consulate appointment. A vague or incomplete letter causes delays at entry.
Verify your wage against prevailing rates before negotiating
While TN doesn't require an LCA, your offered salary still reflects what Arnot Health benchmarks for the role. Run your title and location through the OFLC Wage Search before your offer call so you negotiate from an informed position and can flag any discrepancy early in the process.
Use Migrate Mate to find Arnot Health TN job openings
Searching broadly misses roles where Arnot Health has a clear pattern of supporting TN admission. Migrate Mate surfaces employer-specific hiring data so you can identify which Arnot Health positions align with USMCA-qualifying professions and apply directly, rather than filtering through generic job boards that don't flag visa compatibility.
Prepare your Canadian or Mexican credentials for U.S. evaluation
Border officers and consular officers assess whether your foreign degree or certification satisfies the USMCA credential requirement for your occupation. For nursing, this means holding NCLEX authorization or a state license. For other health professions, a credential evaluation from a recognized body strengthens your admission packet significantly.
Arnot Health TN Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Arnot Health sponsor TN visas?
Arnot Health supports TN admission for eligible Canadian and Mexican professionals by issuing offer letters for qualifying roles. TN is treaty-based under USMCA, so there's no USCIS petition or employer filing. Arnot Health's role is to provide the documentation you need to present at the border or consulate. Roles must fall within the USMCA professions list to qualify.
Which roles at Arnot Health are eligible for TN admission?
Arnot Health's TN-eligible hires concentrate in clinical occupations that map to USMCA-defined professions, including Registered Nurses, physical and occupational therapists, medical laboratory technologists, and pharmacists. Administrative or general support roles don't qualify for TN regardless of employer. Check the USMCA professions annex and confirm your title and duties match before applying.
How do I start the TN process after receiving an offer from Arnot Health?
Once Arnot Health issues your offer letter, Canadian nationals can present it directly at a U.S. port of entry along with proof of citizenship, credentials, and the letter confirming the TN-qualifying role. Mexican nationals must schedule a consulate appointment and obtain a TN visa stamp before traveling. USCIS is not involved in either process.
How long does TN admission take at Arnot Health?
For Canadian nationals, TN admission at the border can be processed the same day if documentation is complete. Mexican nationals face additional time for a consulate appointment, which varies by post and season. Neither path involves USCIS processing times. Your start date at Arnot Health should account for consulate wait times if you're applying from Mexico.
How do I find open TN-eligible positions at Arnot Health?
Migrate Mate lets you search Arnot Health openings filtered for roles that align with USMCA-qualifying professions, so you're not manually cross-referencing job descriptions against the professions annex. Apply directly to clinical and allied health postings, and confirm with the recruiter early that the role will come with TN documentation support before advancing through the interview process.
How does TN visa admission work at Arnot Health?
TN status is granted under the USMCA treaty — there is no USCIS petition or Labor Condition Application required. Canadian citizens can apply directly at a U.S. port of entry with an offer letter from Arnot Health, while Mexican citizens must first obtain a TN visa at a U.S. consulate. The role must match one of the professions listed in USMCA Appendix 1603.D.1. Migrate Mate filters TN job listings to roles that fall within the eligible profession list.
